Is a 5'11/6 feet guy considered tall among the Gen Z Indians?

Well, I am asking this question, because I am exactly 6 feet barefoot, even though I usually feel tall in the public, but I have also noticed that the younger generation is really tall compared to the previous generation, every day I atleast see some people who are taller than me.

Why can’t this world just let you be?

My non-Hindu boyfriend and I decided to part ways because my mother and sister were against our relationship, and they resorted to emotional blackmail. My parents don’t share a great bond, and my mother feared that if my father found out, he would hurt her. I know my parents have sacrificed a lot for me, and I respect that. But right now, all I can think about is why religion plays such a big role in Indian society. Religion is meant to be a personal belief, yet it dictates...

Do you think we live life to the fullest when we are vulnerable?

For me, it's true. I used to do things without thinking much about the consequences. Now that I’m at least 10% more wiser, I analyze people and situations before making the decisions, so life feels boring sometimes.

Guys, I need your help decoding this – is it a superpower or a curse?

Okay, so I’ve got this weird talent: I can guess someone’s favorite movie just by their vibe. No joke, I’ve been right like 85% of the time. Last week, I told my buddy’s new girlfriend she’s a Lord of the Rings stan, and she freaked out because she’s got a friggin’ Aragorn tattoo. Anyway, I’m testing this out – ladies, drop a random fact about yourself in the comments, and I’ll guess your favorite movie.

Thinking of Starting a Soda Shop Business

Hey everyone! I’m completely new to business and planning to start a **soda and snacks shop** in India, where I’ll sell different types of sodas, fruit juices, mocktails, and **puffs** . I don’t have much knowledge about investment, ROI, or how to choose the best location. I’d love to hear from experienced people about: 1. **How much investment is realistically needed?** 2. **What’s a good location** to get more customers? 3. **How much daily revenue can I expect?** 4. **What challenges** should I be prepared for? If anyone has...

Friend Deported from Thailand While I Was Allowed – Seeking Advice

Hey everyone, I wanted to share a frustrating experience that happened recently while traveling to Phuket, Thailand and get some advice on what can be done. I was traveling with a friend, and we both had all the necessary documents. However, at immigration, my friend was denied entry and deported, while I was allowed to enter after showing my documents, return tickets , hotel voucher ,bank balance and debit card. The main issue was that my friend’s flight ticket and funds were with his guardian, who had already cleared...

People who've lived in India and a foreign country (atleast 2 years), what difference did you find?

In all aspects, quality of life, lifestyle, income, availability of stuff, happiness, security, corruption, all the pros and cons which you can compare. Please mention the country, your age(a rough estimate should help), domain in which you work/study (basically how did you move), and would you settle there? Return to India or somewhere else? Thanks

Do Indian Men Lack Emotional Intelligence?

One example of low emotional intelligence that I’ve noticed is how some men handle rejection. If a girl says no to a guy, instead of respecting her decision, many take it as an attack on their ego. Some even behave selfishly, acting out or trying to manipulate the situation. Similarly, I’ve seen cases where a guy keeps chasing a girl even after she clearly says no multiple times. Instead of understanding and respecting her feelings, they keep pushing, thinking persistence will eventually change her mind. This kind of behavior...

Is your life going as you imagined when you were younger(student)?

How is your life going? Is it turning out the way you thought, or has it taken a different path? I’m in my last semester of a diploma engineering. After this, I plan to do BE/BTech and then a master’s degree, expecting a secure future. If your life went as planned, share some tips. If not, what mistakes do you wish you had avoided?

Is India too noisy a country?

I recently spent a month travelling in Europe and the first thing I noticed is how quite it was there. In Germany, I could literally hear my heartbeat in bed. On roads ,I only Heard someone honk once when in was in Rome. Nowadays in India I'm hearing stuff(mostly religious) on loudspeakers till 2 o'clock in the morning. Not to mention the songs blasting at full volume on loud speakers for various reasons. Even in Dubai, I rarely heard the call to prayer from mosques. My friend told me...
