Meghalaya is the rich one
Mostly coal mining, also This is just because the wealth gap is so huge, and the less amount of rural folk. Most villagers are poor, the rich ones are very few.
The Supreme Court of India ruled that Meghalaya Tribals have the right to own coal that existed on their own property. Because typically, individuals do not have the permission to own the coal nor mine it on their property if they found coal, they had to inform it to the government, so this ruling brought massive wealth to coal districts of Meghalaya, primarily the Pnar-Khasis in Jaintia Hills who were the biggest beneficiaries.
Those who were involved in the coal industry in Meghalaya were mostly/almost entirely from rural households. Being from Shillong, I used to hear stories about how these Pnars would spend insane amount of wealth everytime they came to the city as they were involved in this business, they invested heavily in land and properties in Shillong. And many did not properly manage their money and spent it like crazy until they became broke when there was a ban on coal mining and they had to stop sending their children to good schools in the city. I had several Pnar classmates who came from these backgrounds and had to leave as soon as coal mining got banned -

Am I welcome here?
I just posted my my first post here a few days ago about my first bike which of course is Splendor, the support and love I got from this sub was truly great, I didn’t even think that it would be appreciated to that extent, it was then that I understood along with me many people dont see the splendor as “just” splendor but as “lord” splendor,
This very sub here is so supportive to every person who has a passion for riding, so of course you are more than welcome here. -
Thoughts on the Tuono 457 Design?
Definitely the deal breaker for me. Semi fairing should’ve been followed. -
