Honestly, Why is the south so conservative about clothing? I myself am from Andhra Pradesh but grew up in both Andhra and Telangana ( Hyderabad). With an obvious exception of Bangalore, ( probably because of its cosmopolitan atmosphere) literally everywhere, south India is very conservative about clothing. Tamil Nadu is like incredibly extreme when it comes to it. Hyderabad, chennai both the metropolitan cities are very conservative interms of clothing.
