Advice please - ranking in Bing but not Google

Looking for some suggestions why one of my sites gets decent search traffic from non Google (~25k monthly visitors from Bing / DDG etc) and almost zero from Google. What value can SEO bring to a small and poor startup?

I'm not an expert in SEO besides the typical "<h1> tag must contain 69 words", and in my life I've never been able to extract any value from SEO, so I don't really know what it can do for me. Can it bring more users to my website or create awareness? Not a USA startup, which probably makes everything 100x harder.

Tired of people saying SEO is dead

Lets talk facts: in 2021 the daily users was around 7 billion searches and 2024 was around 8.5 billion. So more people are searching than ever. Someone is always ranking for every search term. Google can't index my site - GSC returns "site-wide issue" - Bing and others index it fine, site scores really high in speed tests etc etc... Help?

Title, basically... Sometimes it actually puts it in line to index, but then takes a while... hours... most of the time it returns the error, though... Testing published URL works 25% of the times When it indexes it shows up in searches, news and Discover - I rank quite well depending on the relevancy of the post, no issues there... but usually I'd have it indexed in GSC in minutes, and then 1-2 hours for it to show up, sometimes less, sometimes a little more... now it's 6+ hours...
