Image file names have prefix with size added after upload to website - is this affecting SEO?

We rename all our image file names for SEO. When images are uploaded to our site this image is regenerated to fit the layout and the size is being appended to the new generated image. For example, I uploaded "Rose-Garden-House.jpg" and the generated image name on the site is "med_Rose-Garden-House.jpg" or "sml_Rose-Garden-House.jpg". Is this appending the size to the filename interfering with any SEO benefits to the optimized file names or is the effect on SEO negligible?

How is this going to play out?

In your opinion, how is this going to play out? GPTs can generate custom articles based on what a user wants to read. For example, I can ask ChatGPT five different questions about SEO in a single prompt and get a comprehensive article covering all of them—something that would otherwise require five or more separate searches and browsing through multiple websites. Does this mean content websites are dead? Obviously, GPTs still need fresh content to generate accurate and up-to-date answers.

Low ranking home page compared to rest of site.

My site is decades old now, but recently noticed something I am not sure about… In 2018, my home page ranked for about 400 phrases. Today it is only 3. My overall site has about 2,000 phrases in the top 100 - but it had been around 7,000 in that 2018. I just am curious why my home page would have so few compared to sub-pages. HCU hit me hard and can't recover: what to do?

Last January, I decided to remove certain pages that targeted low-volume keywords and weren’t generating much traffic. Surprisingly, my traffic skyrocketed to 250 visits per day shortly after. However, not long after that, the HCU hit my website, and my traffic has since dropped to just 20 visits per day. I found it strange that removing certain pages initially led to such a significant increase in traffic. Is this a common occurrence? Would it make sense to try this strategy again now? My work is really annoying me

I’m a content writer for this company and they told me to write content for the homepage. I kept it polished and concise and to the point. Deindexing and removing OLD Blogpost in Sitemap

Good day! What do you do if a magazine publishing site has old posts (2008-2019), not getting traffic now because they are old, and don't have backlinks. Do we need to deindex them to save crawl budget and maybe removing them in sitemap also? Because the site has many pages and I have run the website in Screaming Frog for 12hrs it is still not finished. And how do you consider it as old as it can be deindexed?

But the only question arising is how do i score backlinks (do follow) except the social bookmarking ones? Anybody else seeing a recovery over these last few days in impressions/ranking? Pretty sharp increase on my keywords and regaining the rank I got before the spam update. Maybe the algo changed. Over the last weeks all I did was rewrite old articles and prune dead ones.

How useful are “linkable assets” in building links?

I am in the process of getting pricing to create an infographic in my niche. This is something that I do think will add value to the body of content that is already out there.
