I pursued my hsc in 2021 and since then I started working, now without a degree the scope of growth seems non existent and hence planning to pursue a btech in cse, can anyone guide how to start, which exam to appear for, and which schemes will help me obtain relaxation in the tuition fees?

Parking a bike in the open during the dreaded monsoons

Planning to buy a Bike, but no covered parking Hello, I currently reside in Thane. Planning to get a RE Himalayan 450 in the coming months. My only concern is that the parking facility is not covered ie. open parking outside building (secured space). Should I just look for a covered parking or will a good rain cover be enough because monsoons here are never-ending. If the latter, please suggest some good options too. PS. I see bikes ranging from Splendor to Triumph Bonnies soaking in the rainy throughout...

Mumbai restaurants are in full looting mode - from 150 to 180 to 250 to 325. For 4 puris and a small cup of dry alu bhaji which is often old and stinky. Mumbai is getting worse and worse with time

What one location do you wish Mumbai could 'adopt'?

Hypothetically, if you could transport any building/park/tunnel/street/stadium/water body/statue/airport/holy place from anywhere in the world and place it in Mumbai. What would you like to bring to your Mumbai city?

Stop unnecessary honking – Let's make Mumbai quieter

We all agree that Mumbai's roads are chaotic and have the first hand experience of being stuck in traffic and reaching home irritated every day of the week. But it's not the traffic itself that's too bad, it's the honking that makes it worse. It affects everyone, be it all the people on the road or even someone who is just at their home. Traffic doesn't magically clear up because you honked. It only adds to the stress, irritation, and overwhelming noise pollution that we all have to endure...

Is Zoomcar Running an Illegal Rental Operation? Our Shocking Experience in Mumbai

Hello everyone, I want to share a shocking experience my friends and I had with Zoomcar in Mumbai, hoping it serves as a warning and helps us explore potential legal action against Zoomcar. The Incident: We booked a self-drive car through Zoomcar for a day to explore Mumbai. Upon collecting the vehicle, we noticed it had a white number plate (private registration), which seemed unusual because self-drive rental cars must have black number plates with yellow lettering as per Indian transport laws. However, we overlooked this detail and went...

Guys need your opinion on Meghnad Desai Academy of Economics

Was looking into PGDip programs which have good placements as well as are aligned for further abroad studies and found up this college. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get any reviews about this college anywhere (Reddit/Linkedin). I was looking into their PGDip Data Science and Finance program. But their fees are quite high (6.95 Lakh tuition fee to be precise for a PGDip Programme) If anyone has any clue about the college and the program, then please do share your opinions/reviews. Thanking in advance

People of Mumbai, please help me decide if I should get a Gym membership or a bicycle.

Please Forgive me if this looks like a stupid question to you guys but I am genuinely confused. Hey everyone, I’m stuck between getting a gym membership or buying a cycle,! A bit about me: I’m 25, 5'6", with a thin-to-lean build. I work full-time (leave at 8 AM and return around 6:30 PM), and I have about 1-1.25 hours in the evening for such an activity. I currently walk 3-3.5 km approx. After dinner daily, but lately, I feel walking alone isn’t enough to stay active. My goal...

    Stay and route recommendations

Hey everyone, My wife and I are planning to drive from Goa to Mumbai along with our dog. We were wondering what is the best route and where to stay for a night (preferably a good hotel/airbnb that is pet friendly). The options which I have found is taking a stop at Kolhapur or Satara, but I think that is too much of a detour for a nice hotel. Any ideas? Anyone who can give recommendations from prior experience?
