Unable to install python 3.13 on Sequoia

My normally faultless brew install of python 3.x has encountered an issue with 3.13. I'd appreciate any pointers. I've tried removing brew, plus all formulae before reinstalling brew and [python@3.13](mailto:python@3.13). Here's the on screen errors after the auto installation of the dependancies. Looking for help on sleep/display issue in Sequoia

Before I updated to sequoia I would have my MacBook Air (2020) automatically go to sleep at a certain time of night. It was in the energy saver settings. Those settings seem to have gone now that I’ve updated to Sequoia but it’s till putting my computer to sleep and I can’t figure out how to turn it off. Any idea where to start?? Having an annoying bug

Previously when I plugged my external screen at a resolution of 3840*1080, the screen was duplicated exactly on both screen at the same aspect ratio. What is the /Volumes/Preboot/ folder?

I recently checked my disk usage and noticed that the /Volumes/Preboot/ folder contains a subdirectory with a long UUID-like name. Inside, I found several folders, including cryptex1, restore, and boot, with cryptex1 taking up over 11GB of space. What exactly is the purpose of the Preboot volume? Why is cryptex1 using so much storage? Is it safe to delete or clear any of these files to free up space? Could this be related to macOS updates, FileVault, or system recovery? MS Intune coming: how do I separate my Apps and Docs best?

Hi all, situation is as follows: I have a company MBP M1 Pro. I was basically allowed to do whatever I wanted on it. Now Admins are rolling out MS Intune to manage Devices. As far as I know, I can simply create 2 users with admin rights as a way of compartmentalizing Apps & Data. Are there any experiences with MS Intune? Do I have to mind certain aspects an/or restrictions? Admins said that they do it to only manage Apps.

MS365 Calendar Sync Issue

I have several calendars synced in my Apple Calendar on an Apple Silicon Mac. While Google and iCloud calendars are syncing perfectly (as well as the one MS365 which is slightly used), one of my MS365 accounts, has issues with refreshing after some time. And it's not affecting all events, but mainly new events. What is the best actual video player for MacOS?

I've been used SMPlayer for many years on Linux, Windows and now tryed to use it in MacOS but it looks not native at all. *Could you advice actual video player for MacOS?* I've also tried VLC Player but don't like it. Updated to Sequoia, now crashing games close all apps and force a login

Just updated my MBP to Sequoia, and since then have been having real problems with playing games on Steam that worked fine before the update. A recurring theme is that the game will crash, all my applications close, and I have to log back in to my machine -- but notably, it is NOT powering down or rebooting, this is all happening within the space of a second or two What might be going on? Could this be a graphics driver problem?
