All wifi stops working/browsers freezing

i've had this issue since updating to sequoia but i'm starting to get annoyed randomly my wifi just stops working (it works fine on all other devices) and all browsers get stuck in an infinite loading screen and don't respond. the only fix I found is to restart the computer but this happens like once per day. I don't know what causes it I do have protonVPN installed but its not even enabled 90% of the time

Apple Music opening when headphones connect

Alright, so this is a strange one, that I have yet to find a solution to. I use 2 laptops daily for work, my personal 2017 MBP(Ventura 13.7.4), and a Dell laptop(Windows 11) provided by my company. I am using a pair of bluetooth headphones as well. I also use a 34" ultrawide monitor to view both displays at one time. Unable to load tabs in background

I'm wondering if macos has any emulator devices/addons for 3DS games?

so finding a broken 3DS for cheap to repair, mod and play with is impossible, so the next best choice is a device that lets me play 3DS cartridges on macos, is there any type of device for that?

Can we turn off wake up by mouse movement ?

Hey everyone! I use my M3 MacBook almost all the time connected to an external monitor via USB-C, along with a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard. The problem is that my Mac keeps waking up whenever the mouse moves, even slightly. I put it to sleep from the upper left corner, but it wakes up almost instantly in the next second because i was still moving the mouse a little, which is super frustrating. Weird file sorting on Mac

I was organizing some of my files on Mac, and noticed something weird with how files are sorted. Turns out, files without visible extensions are sorted correctly in a hierarchical order. MagicTrackpad 3 with Apple silicon support is recognised as MagicMouse?

Just received a Magic Trackpad from Apple. When I connect it to my MBA M1 none of the gestures are available. When I adjust the settings in settings > trackpad it only applies to the build-in one on my MBA. I also noticed when I adjust the settings in the settings > mouse menu it does scale the tracking speed for example. But in that menu obviously there are no gesture options. Should I upgrade to Mac os sequoia?

I have a MacBook Pro 2019 16gb RAM, i5. Currently running on OS Ventura 13.2.1 I was wondering if the upgrade to sequoia would be too much? Also when I fullscreen video the screen tends to flicker, only in fullscreen, is this something that would be resolved with the upgrade? If not, any tips on how to stop this annoying flickering? Other OS users can see my folders despite 'No Access' choice

Hi, would love some help. Setting up a family laptop. Want a clean user 2 that doesn't have access to user 1's files. Fixed some files that were showing up in User 2 finder and spotlight by moving them out of Mac Hd\_Users\_User1 file, or by selecting 'no access' for everyone in 'get info'. This hasn't worked for the User1\_Music file. They can see and search all documents, folders, projects, play voicenotes and audio etc. How do I make this private? cheers

Automatically resize window depending on the dock being displayed or not

Hi, I'm using two screens for my Mac, and one of them is often not displayed, which means that I sometimes want the dock to be displayed on screen 1, and sometimes on screen 2. iCloud Photos syncing

I was just wondering about when I turn off iCloud Photos syncing and turn it back on, it shows that it is syncing every single photo. Does this mean that it is redownloading every photo onto my Mac (I had Keep originals on Mac turned on)? I had to restart iCloud Photos syncing because of a bug

mysterious red microphone icon that I can't remove
