Hi, I am new to MacBook or Mac in generell and bought a new MacBook Air M3 512/8gb from a I would say serious store. Sometimes the battery (I am studying all day atm) lasts from 100% to 20% for about 8-9 hours display time, middle to low brightness, using Safari, Goodnotes and sometimes ChatGPT. Bluetooth Keyboard Issues

I am running a Macbookpro 13in (2020) with Sequoia 15.3.1. After the upgrade to 15.0 my Coolermaster k653 keyboard started malfunctioning over bluetooth. Multiple keystrokes when pressing keys and more annoying Cmd+ commands not working, pasting characters instead. I eventually got sick of this and jlhave just bought a Keychron V6 Max. So now the Keychron over Bluetooth is also having the cmd+ issues. I am running the latest OS and firmware. I can obviously try 2.4Ghz or usb-c but I have no spare ports atm. Looking for Mac...

Failing to Install Monterey on a 2015 iMac

Hello, I am going through a series of travails in trying to install a more recent version of macos than Sierra on my external SD. I had initially installed sierra, but couldn't use apps. I tried to update to Monterey, but couldn't because the SD wasn't formatted to AFPS. I have now formatted the drive to AFPS and have my usb set up with the Moneterey installer, but I can't get the option to install from the USB. Native macOS Shortcut for Moving Windows Between Monitors

Hi! With Raycast, I can move windows to another monitor using Ctrl + Option + Cmd + Left/Right Arrow. Is there a native shortcut for this in macOS Sequoia? I prefer to use the OS as "vanilla" as possible, but being able to move apps between screens is essential for me. Thanks!

Why is Whatsapp so buggy on MacOS? I've been using MacOS for only months now, and Whatsapp has been updated at least twice during that time, and the same annoying basic bugs as before. In Whatsapp on Windows, those bugs were removed years ago when Whatsapp appeared. Can't seem to update from Mojave

I want to get os 11 or higher. I tried upgrading to Ventura from sys prefs, and it showed the progress bar as if it was upgrading, but then the progress window/modal disappeared with no other information displayed. I restarted the computer, no change, still running Mojave. Then I tried upgrading to Big Sur from the app store, same thing happened. I assume my system is not adequate, but then shouldn't Big Sur be greyed out in the app store? I am now running: macOS Mojave Version 10.14.6 (18G9323)...

Display settings only show up to 1080p for a 4k monitor

My iMac suddenly restarts without a reason

Hello, I have a pretty old iMac but it worked fine for about 1.5 years since someone gave it to me. Now when I open it after some time not even 10 minutes its just restarts on its own. No error message no nothing. I think it does it only with games. I've tried running youtube on it for a couple of minutes and it was ok but when I opened Minecraft loaded and into a world it just closed. I don't know whats causing it I don't know...

How to change default storage location of screenshots taken from CmD + Shift + 4?

I've googled and I've searched Reddit - how can I change the default storage location of screenshots taken using ye olde method of command + shift + 4? This laptop is saving them in the unhelpful preview/icloud location and I just want it to go to Desktop like the days of yore. I don't want to have to change the saving location each time I take a screenshot - it's tedious. Thank you! Ventura 13.0, 2022 Macbook Air.
