Trauma Informed Therapist Recommendations Hi Everyone, I am desperately looking for a trauma informed therapist who specialises in at least one of the specific techniques such as EMDR or Somatic Experiencing or any other proven ones. If anyone has had good personal experience with someone or at least heard genuinely good reviews then please let me know. I would be grateful for the help. Thanks. 4 0 replies
Landlord Asking Me to Sign Two Rental Agreements for Audit Reasons – Should I Be Concerned? I’ve been renting the same property for 4 years, and I’ve had a decent relationship with my landlord. Recently, he’s asked me to sign **two rental agreements**, and I’m a bit unsure about it. Here’s the situation: * The **current address**, where I’m living, is registered under his name. * However, I’ve always transferred rent to his mother (the PAN card holder). * Now, he’s asking me to sign a second rental agreement showing that I’m living at an address that belongs to his mother. He says this is... 4 2 replies
Real Estate RERA Number of Flats sold details Hey I believe according to a circular on Karnataka RERA website, every project registered in RERA must provide **the number of flats sold in a certain project and their details every quarter** for the general public to go through. Can someone please help me understand how to access this information? I've tried hunting through the rera website, every section of project details and document uploaded for multiple projects and youtube videos. However I could not locate any of these details. 3 0 replies
No promotion cuz my linkedin status is open to work! Hey guys, I'm a guy working as a senior data analyst in a startup company since 2 years. The moment I joined the company I thought it would be a great one with a lot of opportunities for me to explore and worked hard. Got 4/5 rating all the time in the performance cycles. But this time around 4-5 months ago I wanted to move out of the organisation as I was not seeing the growth and was having trouble to even login. I then changed my LinkedIn status... 1 3 replies
Don't you think Duolingo should add kannada. I don't want to create a war here, I just want to say how it would be respectful to just learn the language of the people. I recently had gone to a bank, where they all spoke hindi. None of them knew kannada. Someone else had to help an old lady with her work. I have been learning japanese on Duolingo for a while, and I find it quite fun. I know kannada fairly well enough that some might even think I'm a local. But for those of y'all... 5 20 replies

Started going to Cult.fit and now I’m a happy little human I was living in a small village and going to a random fitness center there. I never got too excited because I am an introvert and spoke to very few people. Moved to Bangalore and joined Cult fit. The main motive was to make friends. Even after taking membership, I was too nervous to go because I generally act weird in a group setting. Finally, I took the courage to go one day and was stunned. In my previous gym, my personal trainer and I were good friends, and... 2 20 replies
Noise pollution and honking never stops This is a rant from someone that hasn’t been able to sleep properly for the last few months and in general been affected by the noise pollution. I live in a residential area but my house is in the corner adjacent to a road that is used by a lot of vehicles. I have seen often that even after 10 pm there are a lot of two wheelers making a lot of noise with honking. This continues all through the night and I have noticed that most of them are... 2 11 replies
Amazing weather today! Walked from Basavanagudi to BTM layout (≈ 7kms). Here are my few comments on pedestrian walking system of the city. As the title says, I decided to go to Basavanagudi today to feel the vibes in this beautiful weather. I decided to start walking from Basavanagudi, and it went on and on until I stopped at BTM Layout. I covered some of the core areas of Bangalore like Basavanagudi, Jayanagar (2nd to 5th block), JP Nagar, the ORR part of JP Nagar, and finally BTM Layout. The overall walk took around 2 hours, with stops in between. I started at 6 and reached BTM by 8 approximately. The good... 1 4 replies
Have you witnessed a catfight in Bangalore? Hey folks, Bangalore’s got its fair share of drama, right? From cab fights and pub fights to neighbors arguing over parking, this city has it all. What’s the most entertaining or ridiculous catfight you’ve witnessed here? Could be something you saw on the streets, at work, in college, or even between strangers. Looking forward to some good stories! 1 12 replies

Bangalore Briyanis becoming very stale in evening It's just me or the Bangalore Briyanis have started tasting worse in the evenings. They taste so stale and even bitter at times. Don't they break a new dum in the evening? It's so disappointing to the point that I have stopped ordering briyani at night and have sticked to ordering them in noon only. Your thoughts? Any briyani that you tried at night and it was fresh? 3 14 replies
Bangalore heals my mental health. Dear Bangalore, thank you for being so frickin' amazing. I moved to this city about 10 years ago, and have called it home ever since. I've traveled to several countries and lived in many cities within India, but nothing comes to the *peace* I feel when I'm here. This present weather amplifies this feeling, and I'm writing my heart out here. I live on the outskirts of the city and work from home. Yeah, that's also the reason why I'm so happy (sorry, office-goers who have to face the... 1 20 replies

A Cautionary Tale from KIA Airport Pickup Yesterday, I went with my brother to pick up a relative from KIA airport. Their flight, originally scheduled to land at 11 PM, was delayed by 1.5 hours. With time to kill, we decided to wait at a spot just before the final turn to the airport (coordinates: 5MPJ+R2Q). To pass the time, we crossed the road, grabbed some tea and snacks, and returned to the car to wait. Finally, we got the confirmation that the flight had landed. We started the car to head to the terminal but... 3 18 replies
Controversial Take: Bangalore's tolerance needs to go **If you don't have proper parking, maybe you shouldn’t own a car in Bangalore.** if you don’t have a designated parking spot, your car isn’t your personal street hog. Street parking isn’t your own parking lot. It clogs up narrow roads, and when you park on footpaths, you end up ruining them and putting pedestrians at risk. Get a proper parking spot or maybe think twice about owning one. **Food carts: A nuisance on our streets.** Food carts are bad for us. They arent inspected for health violations. They... 2 4 replies
