    Discussion on r/Delhi

Hey Everyone!! Is this scam call that I received? maybe from Jordan or Pakistan

So I received international call. Code was +96(Jordan). One pre recorded voice began saying bout Income tax and officer wants to talk with u. And then a guy with heavy pakistani accent(or urdu ig) asked me with authority voice what did that lady(prerecorded voice) told u? I immediately got alerted that it was scam call and I cursed him "chal l\*\*de MC apna" and hung up the call immediately. I am sure itz scam call but got bit panic because it was first such instance with me.

    Noise pollution

I have been really struggling with a noise problem in my area and it’s been messing up my sleep, work and peace of mind. I just need to vent a little and maybe get some advice. Here’s what’s going on: • From 6:40 AM to 5:30 PM, there’s constant construction noise from neighboring buildings. It’s like living in the middle of a construction site every single day. • Then, when the construction stops, dogs in the area start barking, howling and crying. This goes on till 3-4 AM sometimes....

    Bangalore Rant

So, I’ve been on the Bangalore sub for a while now. So, I (22F) was born and raised in Bangalore; mom’s family has been settled for 4 generations in Bangalore — grew up in Malleshwaram and then Chandra Layout — dad studied in IISc and roamed around Indiranagar like crazy in his youth — the whole scene. I was mostly surrounded by Bangaloreans as a kid, and except for a few very judgemental Gowda uncles, they were chill only. But now, it’s a whole other story. There’s this Punjabi...

    Curd brand price points

Why is 400g Nandini curd(26) cheaper than milky mist(41), mother dairy(50) and heritage(33). What kind of techniques are used to bump up the volume and are these techniques similar to those used for milk? (Spitting out the figures as seen on blinkit today)

    Water crisis imminent in summer!

With water crisis upon us soon, please ask your companies for work from home this summer. With summer holidays too upcoming, kids can enjoy some good time with grandparents/relatives at our native homes. Please stop wasting water to wash your cars & floor in front of your homes. Use wet cloth and waste RO water for washing floors. Please start using biodegradable cloth/ utensil detergents and soaps/shampoos. Much healthier and sustainable for our ground water. Please use only buckets to bathe and use minimal water like 1-1.5 bucket for...

Hey folks, I’m looking for a good healthy meal subscription service in Bangalore, something like Procalories in Kochi. I’m trying to stay on track with my fitness goals, so I’d love a service that offers well-balanced, high-protein meals. Anyone here using or aware of a reliable service that delivers tasty and nutritious meals in Bangalore? Recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

What is the purpose of BBMP cleaners if they'll throw the collected garbage in an empty site?

I have a video, but can't post. Can I send it to a BBMP email or something (don't have twitter) If BBMP cleaners will come, sweeper the edge of the road, collect trash in their bag and then dump it over an empty site, what's their purpose? And everyone else will think this is the people littering when it's the govt cleaners instead. They will make an entire trashpile and that encourages passerbys to throw their diapers and such Are they not given instructions or is that their instruction?...

    Marriage Certificate Process in Bengaluru

I am looking to get an official marriage certificate done in Bangalore. I tried the online route 3 times but every time it was rejected due to some weird reasoning about marriage photo not being appropriate. Other documents are all fine such as address proof in Bangalore etc. Has anyone got their marriage certificate done through the online process before? What proof points did they need (especially as marriage photo and invitation card)? Is there an easy offline process for the same? The reason I want to go online...
