Is there a best no fee online brokerage for selling short?

After a long time away, I’ve been getting back into trading, taking it one step at a time. I want to start taking some short positions now. The last period in my life where I was trading was near the beginning of online brokerages. I don’t even remember who I had my account with, but I remember constantly being frustrated by the lack of stocks that I was able to sell short. I started my reentry with Robinhood account, only to find that they don’t offer short-selling (I’m guessing...

$ONEI Building Momentum Ahead of NYSE Uplisting Decision

$ONEI is building strong momentum with significant price action, increased volume, and a clear path to potential highs. Key resistance at $1.39 could unlock upside targets of $1.70, $5.00, and beyond. Trading volume more than doubled the 30-day average, highlighting growing interest. Additionally, $ONEI is awaiting a decision on NYSE uplisting, which could serve as a major catalyst for further growth. Stay tuned for updates and potential breakout opportunities.

Any good open source ui for paper trading?

So I paper trade, and I do it using a python script, why do I use that instead of trading view? Because apps like trading view does not allow paper trading for Indian stocks. This might be because of legal reasons and all so I builder kinda a paper trade tool in CLI now I need to add a ui to it? Is there any open source projects for me to take from as a ui for my paper trading platform?

Did I make a mistake choosing TJR as my mentor?

Before you come screaming in the comments; let me give you a little context. I chose his Trading Bootcamp in hopes I'll learn how to trade. I'm not done with it yet but I can say I've assimilated quite a bit of useful information. Though, everyone is telling me I made the wrong choice, and how his course alone isnt enough to actually show me how to trade, and that I should have chosen ICT's course instead. Obviously, I cant have an opinion yet in any of this, since...

    This made my day!

[ADA\/USDT Perpetual](https://preview.redd.it/bmpofp7yqqae1.png?width=1290&format=png&auto=webp&s=1d2c0093fe36914af18486fdac08fb057a333d71) I took this trade based on Bitcoin and ADA's daily chart. I saw that there was a rebound level around .86. So, I decided to watch it closely and when I saw a break of structure on H1, I started look for entries on 15m and here I am!

16yo looking to get into trading

So I just got a Charles Schwab brokerage account set up with 2000 in it. I know very little about the stock market and trading and what to trade in. What route do you guys suggest I take, and what are some good investments I should look into? How should I split up this money. edit: also my dad works at a bank so any trade request has to go through approval before the trade actually happens. how does this change what type of stocks I should focus on?...

    Mental Shift for 2025

If you've been struggling to be consistent with trading, I'm going to lay down a mental framework which has helped me reach the next level psychologically speaking. Firstly, take trading off a pedestal. It's just gambling, and it's totally fine to think of it as such. Honestly, it took immense pressure off for me when I treated it fully like gambling. I will never know what will happen next, and every move is just a total gamble - lets just say its 50-50. It takes the pressure off because...

New Lawsuit Against Cassava Sciences Over Alzheimer’s Drug Failure

Hey guys, I just found this new lawsuit against Cassava Sciences: [https://11thestate.com/cases/cassavaascience-investor-suit](https://11thestate.com/cases/cassavaascience-investor-suit)  If you didn’t hear, back in early 2024, Cassava hyped its Alzheimer’s drug, Simufilam, as groundbreaking. But in November 2024, trials failed to meet all goals, leading to an almost 84% stock drop.  Now, investors are suing the company for misleading them about the drug’s effectiveness and downplayed risks. So if anyone was damaged, you can join the case to stay updated or you can also help by collecting info you think could be helpful or relevant. ...

    Getting into trading

As the new year rolls out I want to get "slowly" into trading. With a full-time job, is it better to focus on swim-trading at first? What are good books/resources to get started?

Realistic amount that I can make

Hello, I just started paper trading. I plan to do it 1 - 2 years before I day trade. Assuming I'm just an average trader, how much can I expect to make per month? Or put it this way: How much should I put in my trading account to make around USD3000/month?
