Newbie question. I've invested 50$ on CVX (i'm holding and expanding every month to gain maximum of dividends), is it possible that my trade gets automatically closed after a market drop? My leverage rate is 1:1. Thanks! 3 0 replies
Should I invest in Military & Solid IT companies? Hi everyone. Total noob in stock investment hence this topic. So basically I work for a German IT company that specialises in developing and selling Solid / Rugged IT hardware & software for the Defense / Military sector. Some of the biggest names in these industries are our customers, such as Airbus Defense, Elbit Systems, Boeing, General Dynamics and many more, and also armies of NATO member states directly. As of January 1st we were officially acquired by an even bigger company in the industry which has it‘s subsidiaries... 3 1 replies

Resources you use? I've been studying on and off on basic symbols charts. Recently started TJR bootcamp which has complimented what I've learned on symbols charts. I'm just about to finish the bootcamp and feel the knowledge is still lacking for me to start backtesting. I've seen some discussions and need some path on where I should head to next. Some in mind I have is: \- Wyckoff \- ICT mentorship (22/23/24) \- TTrades (ICT simplified?) Could you pass on your experience on what you have don, would have done differently, and... 4 0 replies
Bad customer service Has anyone else experienced major issues with Trading 212’s document verification process? I’ve been trying to verify my account for what feels like forever, and it’s been such a frustrating and inconvenient experience. Despite providing all the necessary documents, including a clear photo of my passport taken directly on my phone, they keep rejecting it for vague reasons like “format issues” or claiming it’s a screenshot (it’s not). Every time I get a response, it’s from a new person, and the customer service is incredibly slow—it takes days to... 2 0 replies
Blink EV Chargers Scandal: 2,000 Operative Stations and a 37% Stock Drop—Can It Recover? Hey guys, any $BLNK investors here? If you’ve been following $BLNK, you probably remember the scandal after the report that accused the company of “vastly exaggerating” its EV charging network back in 2020 and the 37% stock drop afterward. Here’s a recap of what happened and the latest news on the $3.75M settlement. In August 2020, [Culper Research](https://culperresearch.com/research-archive) claimed that only 15% of BLINK’s 15,000 chargers were functional (They even included photos and user interviews, tho). https://preview.redd.it/7r02z7ei1lbe1.png?width=1546&format=png&auto=webp&s=f1796842e1845f1020494e009354cd3665bd4a26 Soon after, [Mariner Research Group](https://marinerresearchgroup.com/2020/08/19/dont-get-charged-up-on-blnk-questionable-origin-story-management-history-and-product-issues-portend-potential-90-downside/) called Blink "overvalued" and criticized the company’s... 2 0 replies
Best books for traders I’m facing a hard time with my trading even if I “know” what will be the move. As I don’t have with whom to talk to regarding trading I want to step back and read some books to “listen” to others stories. Which books do you recommend? 2 12 replies

What is happening August-November I had been consistently making money. Averaged about $250-$300 a week which (for a broke college student) is not horrible. Unfortunately, December was NOT my month for trades. Every call and put has been an absolute miss and I’m hemorrhaging money. I’m not someone with a lot of capital at the moment which turns me away from plain investing. Any advice anyone can offer for someone like me? I wanna stick to trading calls and puts but I wanna know how to do it without losing so much... 3 0 replies

"Technical Analysis: Legit Strategy or Just Modern-Day Astrology for Traders?" I've been trading for a while, and I can’t help but question if technical analysis is really the holy grail some claim it to be or just a glorified guessing game. There was one time I made a 40% profit in just a week by following a classic head-and-shoulders pattern on a stock. It felt like magic! But then, on another trade, I trusted a bullish flag formation and ended up losing half of my investment when the market went the opposite way. What’s your take? Are these patterns... 1 20 replies
Start of the Journey (I Guess) Hi, i’m new to this sub and i believe this is my first time writing something on reddit. I’m a 23 y.o. guy, i’m working a classic 9-5, i’m studying for my second degree in Management Engeenering and do other things on the side. I’ve always been fascinated by the finance world and about two years ago i started studying the basics of this world while graduating. In the past year i haven’t done nothing new with my life, it has been a plain straight line that hasn’t teached... 4 3 replies
The results of my EA in a real account since July 2024 The robot only trades crypto, it works with a long only strategy that looks for candle breakouts, quite simple but effective. The best ideas are always the simplest. Several things happened with this robot, first it jumped several BTC trades that it should not have jumped, since it did not have enough balance to open the orders, I did not know that Global prime has only 1:10 leverage in cryptos. https://preview.redd.it/37ptz94qg2be1.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=1d9411d6f58f7635e0cb597c98490d889351a9dd 4 1 replies

Resources for Technical Analysis? Hi All, I've been trading for about a year and a half, and I'll be honest its been a slow process with alot of losing. I've finally found the discipline needed for trading and in the past 4 months, I have been successful in risk management, position sizing, proper trade management, documentation and more. As a result, I've started seeing small, very consistent successes (1.5 - 2R every other trading day). My parents have taken notice and want to now learn Trading. I only have two issues. 1) I... 5 3 replies
What do you think about Leverage Shares 2x Long Super Micro Computer? Hey everyone, I’ve been looking into the Leverage Shares 2x Long Super Micro Computer ETF and noticed an interesting trend. When the price of SMCI shares was around $17.50 and went up to $49.50, the 2x leveraged ETF increased roughly six times over the same period, outperforming the expected 2x leverage. With SMCI expected to sort out their financials soon, I’m considering whether it might be a better idea to buy the 2x leveraged ETF instead of the regular shares for the next few months. This would align with... 1 4 replies
How to start trading properly ? I’ve been interested in trading for a long time, but I just don’t know how to start. I’ve seen a lot of videos on YouTube and tik tok, but I don’t know if I can trust them plus they are very superficial. I have no friends or relatives, who have ever tried to trade. Especially I know little about technical and fundamental analyses, but not enough to trade. Someone who has experience and can help? 4 13 replies
