    Psychology problem in trading

I have a problem. It is that I have a week or a day when I understand everything perfectly well in the market and my trading and analysis are good, and I earn money, but literally the next day everything goes not so well, or even badly, and this goes on for several days. I start to think longer, I trade poorly on Forex, although I analyze everything the same way (as it seems to me, the problem is not in the strategy, because it works well on backtests)....

    Position on tradingview paper trading

I am trading futures and am still on demo account. Whenever I take a trade with trading view paper trading tool it calculates my profit and loss based on price movement rather than risk/reward ratio. Does anyone know how to change that?

What makes the most trusted exchanges stand out?

Normally there should be no point telling you about how security is the most important part of any crypto exchange, because it would be me just stating the obvious. Because when you think about it, without those strong security measures, assets would be at risk of hacks, fraud, and even unauthorized access. But the thing is, there are still a good number of people coming into the crypto space every day, and looking for help with navigating the space, and it's important that we keep pointing them in the...

    Profit/loss window

I generally swing trade following the 20/50/200 charts but do have a few longer holds for dividends, etc. What is the general consensus for cutting losses or taking profits? I've heard things like down 5% sell, up 10% take profits and even larger down 5/up25 but i wanted to see what the masses thought lol

Anyone interested in Quant zones and Macro/event setups?

Macro/event setups rarely gets covered in the retail world and generally gets bashed on, while TA are more well received. We have public (undeletable once published) before and after setups. Our setups are based on zones/levels generated by our quant, then using catalystic events/macro views to generate bias. We cover multi assets analysis as market is actually intercorrelated where moves in bonds can affect the stock markets etc. Just wondering, any traders out there interested in this kind of stuff? We have free groups to build a community of...

    Starting all over again

Hey everyone, I'm looking to connect with profitable traders who make a living from day trading. I'm based in Central Europe, so I mainly trade during the London session, focusing on pairs like GBP/USD, GBP/JPY, etc. I've been trading for about a year now, and I’ve been trying to pass a funded account. I’ve also explored SMC mentoring from TJR, but I’m starting to feel disconnected from these kinds of mentors who show off cars, watches, and other material things. SMC strategy works for me and it makes sense,...

What to read? Need help from experienced traders.

I need help from experienced traders. I am new to trading and still in the learning process. In your opinion, should I first read books on global economics, macro, and microeconomics, or can I start directly with books on how the stock market works and price action? Based on your advice, it would be great if you could also recommend books that are written in simple language.

Novice! I started doing a little trading by adding 50 euros to a Bitget account. I do “baby trading” for an hour, sometimes less. I am now at 91 euros in a week.

Do you advise me to add more money to my account in order to have more interesting profits or to trade only with 41 euros to avoid losing my initial money and to be patient? Trading with 91 euros? I would like to point out that I am poor at the moment, this is why I became interested in trading and I admit to doing Futures by feeling without any knowledge 😬 I always stop my position from 10 euros of loss

I Wish Someone Had Taught Me This When I Started Trading

ey everyone, I’ve been trading for a while now, and looking back, I realize how many mistakes I made just because I didn’t have the right guidance. I jumped into the stock market and forex world thinking I’d get rich quickly—only to lose money, get frustrated, and almost give up. Nobody told me how important risk management is. Nobody explained that trading isn’t about finding a “perfect strategy” but about discipline, patience, and psychology. And definitely, nobody warned me about the emotional rollercoaster of wins and losses. After spending...

    Nuclear Stocks for my watchlist

Hi everyone I'm currently reevaluating my watchlist and considering stocks that are well-positioned to benefit from recent trends and events, especially with tech giants like Microsoft, Nvidia, and Google investing heavily in nuclear energy. Given my focus on event/news-driven trading, I'm looking for companies in the nuclear energy sector that show high potential for responsiveness to market changes and news. Here are some of the nuclear energy stocks I've been eyeing: 1. **Fluor Corporation (FLR)** \- A global engineering firm with a majority stake in NuScale Power, known for...
