Complimentary patterns to the Ascending Triangle? Just throwing a wide net to see if there are any opinions on any other widely listed bullish stock patterns (double/triple bottoms, Inv H&S, etc.) that might be complimentary to an Ascending Triangle (AT) pattern within a chart. Predictable events that are known to affect stock prices I know there are many unpredictable things that can randomly happen at any moment that affect stock prices. However, there are also many predictable events. Like the jobs report, inflation report, an upcoming FOMC meeting, etc. I am curious if there is literally a calendar somewhere out there of these predictable events throughout the quarter and/or year. Thoughts on buying RKLB right before earnings? I’ve sold my whole RKLB position around a week ago and I used it all to buy BBAI. Lot size, margin & leverage Hi traders! I have bit of a problem understanding lot size, margin and leverage and the connection of these. So when i try to place a trade on my demo acc, usually i use a lot size calculator, but the numbers doesn't always match my expectations. Also some brokers give different names for lot size like position size, which could also be confusing. I also don't know much about marging and leverage? Is there leverage on every single trade? Trading as a hobby, possible? So I was wondering if it is possible to trade as a hobby. I have been reading up on trading, and listening to podcast and it sounds like something I could be into. I have no knowledge about it, so don’t really know what all comes to it. What I want is a hobby I can focus on, and really get into.
