Why do so few traders keep a journal, even though it’s one of the best ways to improve? Hi, just wanted to rant a little bit. Everyone says keeping a trading journal is crucial for improvement, but from what Ive seen, most traders dont do it at all. I know its tedious to manually write down every trade, especially when you’re trading multiple pairs or scalping. But after forcing myself to review my trades regularly (i automated it cause manual is a pain in the ass), I realized it helped way more than I expected. Seeing recurring mistakes helped me cut them out. \- Tracking setups showed... 3 1 replies
Finding an edge is crazy hard I am trying to become a profitable trader for about 4 years now. I've had my moments of success and I am on a very good path in my opinion but I want to adress something that has been misrepresented in this industry in my humble opinion. There are a ton of people here who claim that "every strategy works, it's the trader who makes a strategy proftiable" or "strategy is about 10-20% of the game, the rest is psychology". And from my experience it's just wrong. Yeah trading... 4 2 replies
Right way to look at the RSI (timeframe) If you look a stock on a 1 month timeframe, the RSI will show a value, but for the same stock , if you change the timeframe to 1 year will show a totally different value. Let's use IJT for example: [1 month timeframe, the RSI is close to 70](https://preview.redd.it/3pb5ou4m90je1.jpg?width=840&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ff53bc9793c349153fbe78ff8969e016ab547f9b) [1 year, rsi is at the middle, close to 50](https://preview.redd.it/r6dfs287a0je1.jpg?width=818&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3167dcafd9adaed8610614e4efb1988ca5e36cf9) Should someone conclude that if you are buying to hold a year, the price is "ok". But if you are buying for a month it's kinda pricey? Do you... 2 0 replies
Could someone explain this? # As someone new to trading, how does one know if they are breaking even, getting +10% or doubling there profits? Im using bullx, so on the market cap side, if I buy at 10K mc and sell at 20K, would that not be 2X? Or if I brought at 10k and sell at 100K, would that not be 100X. Guys, I know this may be a dumb inexperienced question, but please explain this to me! 1 0 replies
What do traders need? This is a genuine question and not a plug for my community; hence, no links are provided here. I set up a community for traders (platform and App) because one thing I have been missing over the years is a connection with other genuine people who believe in helping each other and bouncing ideas off each other. Trading can be lonely! As I launch my community, I am questioning what people actually need and want—not just what I think they would want. It is a paid community, as I... 4 2 replies
Anyone interested in joining my trading group? Hi everyone, I know some of you maybe struggling with your trading or looking for some additional trading ideas to supplement your own. If you’re interested, you’re welcome to join and paper/demo trade my signals for a month to see their effectiveness. The strategy is simple enough to follow and understand. I also have performance back-test... 5 11 replies
Interactive trading on chart Hi all! I have started recently exploring trading mainly crypto on Binance. Do you know if there is a feature/external tool that allows me to trade interactively on the chart? To place TP/SL and orders directly there. Preferably free of charge. Thanks :) 5 0 replies

My first Web App build with Cursor to help Traders make better decisions - Research Tool for Commodities and FX pairs Hi Fellow Traders, I have build my first app in Cursor for helping retail (perhaps institutional?) traders to get some objective analysis on commodities and some common FX pairs. Its hosted on streamlit and uses yfinance data and deepseek for AI analysis and support chat bot (due to low costs obviosly lol). It works best when you use the 6 months time period (especially for the forecast). Fun fact Gold Predictions by AI where better then using statistical models. Would love to get some feedback and improvement suggestions as... 4 1 replies

Crazy volatility, unpredictability in GBP/USD recent weeks I'm solely a GBPUSD forex trader. I have a comprehensive TA driven strategy which has proven highly successful over the last 3-4 years, with avg WR of >70% and total returns of 190K. That being said, the last few weeks have just about broken me. My normal strategies are falling down, the market is all over the shop and I'm walking away with big losses that I can't rationalise. I get the macro-economic situation is a total cluster-f. The tariffs question, the frankly terrible Labour government in the UK... 2 0 replies
Fully automated AI trading including buying and selling? Hello everyone I’m new to trading and this community. Is there a program, software or service company that fully automated trading?? For example I deposit 1000$ and the AI spends the day buying and selling stocks for me without any prompts from me and by the end of the day I look at my account and I’ve made 1200$. What programs, software, company can do this for me? 2 4 replies
Updated News on AppHarvest’s $4.85M Settlement Over Appalachian Scandal Hey guys, I already posted about this settlement, but since we have an update, I decided to share it again. You may know that the company filed for bankruptcy last year, but tbh it had issues from the beginning. As you might remember, APPH was seen as the future of farming in Appalachia. They even built 5 giant greenhouses to grow indoor veggies in their first year. But later, they were accused of pushing out low-quality goods, having too-high temperatures in their greenhouses (up to 125°F), and giving little... 3 0 replies
My unforgettable experience Hey guys! In this post, I want to share a strategy from my close friend that has already made him $2,500 in less than two weeks. It might sound too good to be true, but he showed me all the proofs and exactly how it works. Now, I’m making around $150 every day myself! I won’t go into too much detail—you can find all the info on his profile ( browz21go1 ) . And don’t be stingy with tips—he put in the effort, after all! 1 0 replies
More experienced traders, what's your take on the use of risk management tools? Hi Thread, Relatively new to Reddit but find the platform fascinating for insights. Me and my friend, we work in financial services, brokerage and prop trading, in the risk department. We do some trading of our own, and having spent time with relatively novice daytraders and the more sophisticated trade shops, it became clear that risk management or use of risk concepts differs much across the trader community. We were wondering how many of you up here are familiar with concepts of Market Neutral Strategies and to start, for... 2 0 replies
