Multiple Time Machine backups via 1 hard drive on Asus router

Just an informative post since I have posted here before regarding this issue. I was previously trying to connect an external HDD to my Asus router and use it as a Time Machine backup. What I was doing was trying to partition the disk first into 2 volumes since I was hoping it would allow me to set 2 different backups for 2 different laptops. Water got to my Mac

I have a MacBook Pro and it had some water spilled on it yesterday when a few friends were over. I saved for a while for it so I’m trying desperately to save it. Any tips or what to look for. 2014 MBP. Should I install Sequoia?

I have a pretty mint condition mid-2014 MBP running Big Sur. It’s barely used because I’ve always had a work MBP as well as a personal iMac or Mac Mini at home. I’ve read that Sequoia might slow it down. Anyone else have experience with this? Should I keep it on Big Sur? Or maybe upgrade to something in between? For reference, these are the specs: 2.6 GHz Dual-Core i5 8GB RAM Intel Iris 1536 MB graphics

New Monitor = Black Screens on startup of Mac Mini 2018

Hello all, I wonder if you know anything about this type of thing. tl;dr: I bought a second hand monitor, which works fine but prevents my system from booting up properly. The new monitor is one of three. If it's plugged in, everything's just black upon powering the Mini. If I unplug the new monitor, all boots up as normal. Safari, printing directly to PDF?

I know how to print. However, the process involves five steps of clicking. I want to know if there is a way to print directly to PDF without having to go through the intermediate steps. That is to say, I click this print option p, the webpage prints directly to the previous folder selected as a PDF. Quick and easy. Is this possible?

Question on Time machine migration after setting up new Mac

I have an old Mac I need to get rid of, and a brand new Mac I need to set up sooner than the time it would take to migrate files, or restore from time machine. I was wondering if there would be any problems if for the sake of time constraints, set up my new Mac, and at a later date, transfer all the stuff I want to keep, from the time machine (having backed up the old Mac), to the new Mac. What’s the best way to handle leftover files from uninstalled apps?

Over the years of downloading, using, then potentially uninstalling apps I’m sure a lot of apps leave behind files that are no longer needed and are just taking up space. What’s the best way to find these files and remove them? I believe the storage display in system settings only displays the size of app bundles and doesn’t account for support files, and deleting apps using this is sure to leave files behind. I’ve heard that apps like CleanMyMac give pretty bad performance hits and use shady and exaggerated...

There has to be a way to go back to iTunes and not have to use Music?

So I upgraded to a new Macbook a couple of months ago after refusing to update my 2015 so I could continue using iTunes. I've been using Music since I got this new Macbook and it's still horrendous for offline music. There has to be a way to get the old iTunes or a similar program! It was literally perfect for music organisation and Music isn't even half of iTunes. $12 iMac WITH ISSUE - Help!!

The iMac keeps restarting, sometimes it doesn't even get to the login screen. Does anyone have any idea on what the issue could be? Opened my MacBookPro today to find Apple Intelligence was automatically enabled -_-

I know it was already installed in the background, but I never activated it. But on boot up, I was greeted with the Terms and Conditions and I couldn't navigate away from it. Pretty shitty move, imho

I can't figure out what's going wrong here. Mac Studio running Sequoia 15.2. Is Sequoia ready for prime time daily driver work including media creation?

After years of ongoing issues / compatibility problems and bugs, I'm wondering if Sequoia is stable and quick for other users - especially on M1 Pro 32GB?
