    How to pray to KrishnaKali?

I am a devotee of Lord Krishna and love him so much I cannot explain. I’m not a full pure devotee yet but I’m striving to be one day by day. I let go of a lot of things materials in my life and have never been happier. It’s been a year of being a devotee of Lord Krishna. Recently however I’ve been getting a calling to pray to Maa Kaali. I’m not sure where this came from but I just really feel like praying to her more and...

    Question about Hindu denomination

Those for whom Brahman = Vishnu are Vaishnavites, those for whom Brahman = Shiva are Shaivites, those for whom Brahman = Shakti are Shaktas, those for whom Brahman = Ganesh are Ganapatyas, and those for whom Brahman = the 330 million divine beings of Hinduism—what is their denomination? Thanks for replies.

Will I get bad karma for reacting to my mother provocation?

My mother is an extremely provoking woman who will make a mountain out of a mole hill and if you argue with her she will say the most personal things that she knows will hurt you the most. She has extreme mood swings and will always try to start fights at home, if I tell her to stop fighting with my dad she will mock me and say I’m scared of my dad that’s why I tell her to stop. She can be verbally abusive and like a bully...

Hey guys, I am new to learning and educating myself on my culture. Is there a way I could watch radhakrishn rasleela that aired on 2018? I’ve tried searching for it and it says it’s available on Disney hot star which is not available in my country, and I’ve tried YouTube but I believe it has been cut. Any help would be appreciated thank you!

Do you agree with the idea that Brahman is space itself?

This is an excerpt from the book "The philosophy of Brahma Sutra" by Aleksandar Uskokov. "Several points are important for Bādarāyaṇa to make with respect to this account of creation of the five elements. First, some traditions such as Nyāya- Vaiśeṣika do not include space among the elements, and the commentators rehearse their reasons, the most important of which is that space accommodates origination—things originate in space—such that it makes no sense for space itself to originate. Bādarāyaṇa rejects their arguments on theological grounds, which we need not rehearse....

    Spinal Breathing was a mistake

After researching about all types of Kriya pranayam, I've come to a conclusion that spinal breathing was a misunderstanding of actual kriya pranayam of lahiri mahasaya. Lahiri said to not forget about om japa in the chakras and one should do om japa in the six chakras with the kriya pranayam. So it's actually not about doing spinal breathing (visualising or sensing prana going up & down in the spine with the breath) but going up & down through the chakras oming into 6 chakras with the breath. I...

Is it possible to follow Hinduism whilst finding it difficult to believe in a God?

Hello there, It's nice to meet you all. I've recently become really interested in Buddhism, and along my journey have also become somewhat curious about Hinduism too. As a young person I was always fascinated by the Hindu gods and really took a liking to the religion. However, it seems I have a difficult time placing a belief in any God. Whilst I acknowledge their existence to others, there is a remaining feeling in my mind that just can't connect to them. I suppose my question is, within Buddhism...

Questions about Bhakti Yoga and Nyaya~Vaisheshika Darshans.

I am a Wikipedia guy, and encounters such topics while surfacing many things. So if anything I quote is wrong, please feel free to correct me. There are described to be 5 Bhavas(affective essence) by which you can have a personal relation to God. One of bhava is called Madhurya Bhava in which a person sees himself as a lover of their deity. One example people often state is how Srimati Radharani loves Lord Krishna as God or how Sant Mirabai viewed Lord Krishna as her lover. **My question...

Getting sleepy while doing Rama Raksha Stotra.

So I used to do Rama Raksha Stotra every full moon, but since January I have started doing it daily three times. I got sick a few days ago, so instead of singing it like usual, I did it mentally and have been having a very hard time staying awake while doing it. Could anyone tell me what I could do to avoid this? My throat is still not in a condition to verbally chant.
