Stop loss on Covered Call questions

Hi there, need some help with the covered call option questions. Correct me if im wrong. Lets say today i buy 100 SMCI for $42 , and sell a Feb 14th $29 (ITM)Call option for $14 . At the expiation day, if the stock go below $29, if i set stop loss at $28.99, i will keep the premium, and the option will be worthless, and i won't lose on my long positions coz i exited with stop loss strategy. So i will never really lose? Thx for explanation!...

Trading Help

Hi I’ve been trading inconsistently since the age of 15 I am 20 now. My major downfalls are a complete misconception of what the markets are saying, making profit for the month then blowing it in a day. I am self taught, basically just asking for guidance for how to understand what I am actually seeing and eventually become profitable. I know youtubers and books, just wondering wherever I should buy a course or something? Any suggestions for anything?

Oi data

As I have seen many times OI data doesn't indicate actual support or resistance ,why though or is there any other way to read it .I noticed many a times when indices doesn't respect the levels where oi deta indicated strong supports and resistances.

Do you bother waiting for dips when investing for the long term?

Just a general question, if you focus on investing long do you wait for dips short term? Or just put it all in and forget about it? Currently looking at BB, HIMS and SPOT, but they are trading at all time highs so wondering if I should wait for a dip or just put in all in now. Many thanks!

Beginner to trading

I wouldn’t even say beginner. I don’t know anything about trading, but it’s the only thing that interests me when it comes to working and making money. I tried finding mentors, gotten scammed NUMEROUS times, ghosted, left on delivered, all of those repetitive YouTube videos are copy pasted for views and don’t give any real advice… I’m stuck and I haven’t even started.
