Maturity is when you realise Indians high GDP is due to following reasons : 1. Overpopulation 2. Consumer spending 3. Growth of Elite Class Wealth who get contracts at the expense of tax payers money 4. Remittances from Indian migrants abroad 5. Financial market manipulation 6. Media Manipulation 7. Unfair Taxation If you ask any Indian today, they will say proudly India is near equivalent of China. Pakistan is closer to India than India is to China.

But that time headline market had fallen 40% in a flash. Guys chill out take a break, let the nifty index fall more than 25% and then start buying. People who are doing SIP in mutual fund have outsourced their headache to the Fund Manager and they invest small money regularly, so they wont be bothered. They are playing...

Inflation and Market are linked...Bear Market is a cycle.

I believe till a country is developing there will always be inflation and inflation means increased profits for the corporates because they always increase the product/service prices to justify inflation but in reality thier expenses don't increase by that amount . Also without the corporate tax Governments can't run for long so profits of conglomerate and giants are bound to increase in a developing economy. Also if just ask chat gpt about the years where sensex has returned negative it may around 8-9 years so don't be surprised be...

Long term views on tata tech

What are you guys’ views on the company ? Personally I think think it is financially strong and being debt free is an advantage However , the revenue growth isn’t as the market would want it to be … but I feel that should sort itself out within a couple of quarters with the new deals won (not sure.. what do yous think ?) Also the sector in general has been performing a bit badly recently…. maybe the company could start performing better when the sector as a whole...

Reason behind fall in Indian Stock Market || 13-01-2025

Image is of US Treasury Yield (1yr) compared with Nifty50(Green) and $ Index (Blue). It is quite evident that when Dollar strengthens and US Treasury Yield increases, Global investors move towards that trend and hence lots of selling in Indian Stock Market. Other reasons includes: 1. Long awaited correction 2. Yen Carry Trade 3. UnionBudget and RBI Policy Anticipation (Feb'25) 4. Oil price hike and a few more (do share what you think is the reason) Do not panic, believe in market, focus on strong fundamental stocks, go LONG...

LTCG and STCG Loss Offset Collection?

Since losses from long-term capital gains (LTCG) and short-term capital gains (STCG) can be carried forward for up to 8 years, would you consider selling stocks that you plan to hold long-term but are currently at a loss? You could repurchase those shares in a few weeks or months, maintaining your original number of shares while realizing some losses that can be used to offset future gains. Would this strategy fall under the concept of tax-loss harvesting?

    Jio Fin

The stock has fallen from 340 to 265. They've been updating us with all these announcements, JV with Blackrock, Jio Fin app (E-gold is not bad tho), but nothing seems to materialize. I haven't seen a single Jio Fin executive in Reliance Digital/Retail stores. They can easily tap their network of stores for selling loans/EMI etc. The books don't make any sense, they receive 270 Cr Dividends from the parent. People have been pouring money into this company hoping Reliance wouldn't let them down? And I agree 😶, I...

    Need suggestions for books

Hey everyone I'm a 19M student I've been investing in the market for approx 3 years now. I've tried to learn about the markets from many sources and hence all of what I know is either half or disorganised, basically everything is a message and I really want to get it all together , I haven't read any books about investing or the markets even tho I've seen many people on this subject mention them frequently, are they really that helpful? I'll be starting over fresh from the beginning...

    Summer stock

This is a good time for value investors to buy stocks as many of them got corrected 30-40% from their highs. I have quite a good number of stocks in my radar one of which is Wonderla Holidays.. I was going through the stock fundamentals and i feel it is a good time to make an entry. Below is the criteria why I believe it would be a good buy at current levels: 1. Zero debt 2. 52 week low levels (thanks to correction due to global factors) 3....

    Is it illegal?

I am new to the stock market. I bought TRENT at a high price of 7300, and since then, the stock has been falling every day. For the past 4 days, I have been selling my stock and shorting 3 more every day, then buying them back before the market closes. My question is: if everyone knows the market is falling, why is this method suggested less often compared to averaging?

Perfect time for tax loss harvesting

Hey everyone, I think this is the perfect time for tax loss harvesting with the current market fluctuations. Here’s my strategy: 1. Sell Stocks with the Least Dip Today ( but oversold in the last 1 month) : I'm looking at stocks that haven't dipped as much as others in the current market downturn. This allows me to realize some losses for tax purposes, without fully abandoning positions in my portfolio. 2. Buy Oversold Today Stocks: I plan to reinvest the funds into stocks that are oversold and have...

How is equity delivery charge calculated in groww as I got deducted higher than what they have mentioned

Today is the first day I have invested in my life. I have opened a demat account in Groww in November, in which it said that for equity delivery they will charge either 0.1% or ₹20 which is lower. I bought 200 shares at the price of ₹28.50 it’s total is ₹5700 and 1% on the same is ₹5.7 adding 18% gst gives ₹6.726 but I got deducted ₹5712.54. Why there is a difference? Can anyone help me in this regard as I am new to this?
