Should I abandon format.com and rebuilt my website on wordpress? I’ve been using [Format.com](http://Format.com) to build my photo retouching website since 2014. While the platform is somewhat user-friendly, it’s definitely not SEO-friendly. Toward the end of 2024, I decided to get serious about improving my website’s SEO. I spent an entire month revamping all my pages. I integrated meta tags, JSON-LD schema, and image alt text. I also renamed all my images, added substantial text and paragraphs to every page, and updated the URLs to make them more meaningful. After a month of hard work, I began seeing improvements... 3 1 replies
Did Your Website Take a Hit After Google's 'Spam Update'? I’ve been working on a few new SEO projects over the last few months. I’ve been managing all three segments of the project—technical, on-page, and off-page. A few months in, Google launched its core update in November, which ultimately benefitted the website by bringing a significant hike in traffic by the end of the month. I continued following my strategy, but a few weeks later, Google released another core update, followed by the “Spam Update.” As a result, the website I had started working on a few months earlier... 5 0 replies
Delete old pages In my property at google search console, old pages are still listed that cause an error (because they no longer exist) during indexing because I have recreated the website and therefore not all links are present in the sitemap. How can I now clean up the whole thing so that only the new pages are indexed? Do I have to delete the complete property and create a new one? 4 2 replies
shopify markets - com and eu Hi all! So I have a dilemma with international markets. I do have an .eu website which is in English and is meant for EU english speaking customers. However, I also have an old .com website which I didn't develop for quite some time as I was busy with .eu. But now - the time has come and I want to ask something about Shopify markets and SEO. As you may know - Shopify allows to have multi-market shop within one admin, allowing an easier and more streamlined administration... 5 0 replies

Service Pages vs. Chamber of Commerce for Home Service Businesses What would be more beneficial for my SEO? Joining 5 of my local Chamber of Commerce groups and being listed on their site? Or adding 10 town/city service pages to my website? I own a pressure washing business so for example the pages would be titled “Top pressure washing in ‘Miami’” ‘Top pressure Washing in ‘New York’” along with industry specific keywords. What do you think? 5 0 replies

Site Title Showing Up Wrong in Search Engine Snippet Hello, we are currently working on a website that has the RankMath plugin set up on it to handle the main types of Scheme markup and snippet editing. I have noticed, though, that this website and others we have worked on with that plugin do not show the site title properly in Google's snippet. The website is named LineLava and if you search it up you will see what I'm talking about. It shows the URL for the site title instead of the site name. I can't show an... 5 0 replies

Backlink wholesalers to DIY Fatjoe, Authority Builders to name a few. What’s your experience with these and do you have any advice? Would rather DIY it than pay agencies a massive markup and monthly retainer who are basically gatekeepers to high DA sites through relationships which these wholesalers have access to and sell much, much cheaper. Problem is you have to know what you need strategically and based on your category and wha your competitors have. What advice do you have and are any of them better than most? What’s your experience with... 4 0 replies

AI automation tools missing the mark I’m being targeted on IG for these tools but I’m finding them lacking the full coverage and depth of processes used for example, keyword research lacks categorisation and no internal link gap analysis. They promise other things like adding schema and optimising meta straight into shopify which are time savers. What’s your take? 5 0 replies
How do sites end up on toxic domains? Pretty much every site I've ever audited is listed on massively toxic domains like the globe.net or the globe.in or websearch.net on a page named "the world's most visited web pages". These are all link farms but it's uncanny that every customer I speak with swears blind they've never had anyone do dodgy link building for them, or paid for cheap blackhat SEO. Do these sites just scrape and crawl and automatically list as many sites as they can? I always disavow them anyway but it's always the same... 2 1 replies
