I went to a place (Bengali area) where they removed the Assamese signs and demanded Bengali signs. Our people speak in Hindi while the North Indian speaks his own language. Our people dance like having a seizure while calling it Bihu. Many don't even know about our history. I wouldn't be surprised...

What’s your opinion on this by mainlanders that many women from NE work in prostitution in rest of India and hence they are harassed and asked for rates.

He thinks Northeastern women being harassed is due to a lot NE women working as prostitutes. Now I don’t know where he got his data from and what his source is either. He is also shifting the blame to the victims.

    Interesting read

“If the people of India do not realise that the nexus between religion, politics, and the military is working against them, not only in Manipur but everywhere in the country, which is supposedly the largest democracy in the world, this is going to happen. It is an impending disaster in all states if we don’t work together to eliminate this criminal nexus,” Heisnam says.
