Just an Opinion I don’t know why but whenever I watch vids of people taking interviews of our fellow NE’s about the racial discrimination and all , I feel cringe . Like bro, You cant deny we dont look like one, You dont Fuckin need to beg for them to accept you as an indian. You Have your Own identity, language, culture, traditions Why cant you be proud of it? Propaganda troll team at work. Propaganda troll teams and their work. This profile pretending to be Assamese is only fake account and made for creating division . Not only defaming Assam and but also both Christians and Hindus. Creating division amongst the people. Divided population is easy to subdue. Definitely part of rival propaganda machinery. Didn't start the discussion with logic and reasoning but starts with abuses. Typing troll team behavior Probably made more hateful comments and after creating division he removed them. But maybe due to internet glitch the one left left in... 1 21 replies
Why do traditional costumes of the Tibeto-Burman people of northeastern India look different from those elsewhere? Comparison of traditional costumes of Tibeto-Burman peoples in Northeast China (first three pictures) and Tibeto-Burman peoples in Southeast Asia and East Asia (last three pictures). I feel that the headdress looks very distinctive and reminds me of some Austronesian peoples, such as some peoples in Taiwan and Indonesia. East and Southeast Asian peoples such as the Burmese, Yi people, and Karen people do not have headdresses, but wear hats instead… 1 4 replies
NE natives, don't jeopardise ur sino-tibetan or Burmese or tai identity. Ur ancestors fought so hard for this land and ur identity. Don't get carried way by the soft narratives of outsiders and end up becoming the abominations which ur ancestors always fought against. Just look at Pradyot, he doesn't even reflect his ancentral Sino-Tibetan identity. He seems to be rootless with massive identity issues and I really don't get why Twiprasas even consider him as their king. This warning is for both NE native girl or boy. 2 12 replies

Kin Of "Assam Movement" Martyrs Only Feel Betrayed Almost 40 years after the historic Assam movement, the movement also known as one of the longest students' movements in the world, seems to have lost its meaning, particularly for the families of over 855 youths, who had laid down their lives during the movement. The whole of Assam witnessed turbulent times from 1979 to 1985 with picketing, protests, bandhs and blockades becoming the order of the day and 855 youths were killed by the government who wanted to end the movement and ensure lasting peace in the State.... 4 0 replies

Mainlanders dislike pork eaters? So a teacher in our coaching who is from Agra told us that if we ever go outside of NE for college or something we should avoid telling the other students or people that we consume pork because they will make you feel outcasted and avoid sharing a table with you even after saying its fine and all to show respect to our culture. So is it true and has anyone experienced it? Asking because i am curious. 5 0 replies

What part of AP would be best to visit in March? I am doing a solo trip of Arunachal starting on the 3rd of March, for around 8-9 days. Can you help me with an itinerary? I was thinking of doing the Tawang circuit but heard that the snow might make it difficult. But I am pretty open to visit any area (East/West/North/South) that will be good this time of the year. Trying to keep things in a budget. Would be grateful for your suggestions! 5 3 replies
