I added the .icns for each one, changed their name and saved them. Can't change app icons on M4 MacBook Pro I had an M1 MBP and had always customised many app icons (not the stock apps, third party apps). I've upgraded to a brand new M4 MBP and can't change any of the icons as I had previously - I copy an icon to my clipboard, find the app, go to Get Info, select the icon in the top of the Get Info window, paste, but nothing! Help!! Files automatically disappeared from my Macbook Help! Recently, while I was going through my important files on my MacBook, I noticed that all the folders were present, but when I checked in all the folders, my files were nowhere to be found. I couldn’t locate my files anywhere, even when searching using Spotlight. I checked the hidden folder, but there were no hidden files. Rsync is slow when copy files to external TB4 NVME SSD I was testing file copy from my Mac SDD to external NVME SSD (APFS filesystem (TB4 OWC 1M Enclosure) and noticed that rsync (3.3.0 installed using brew) is much slower than cp or pv. How to fully update my outdated Mac with the last available updates? I have a MBP late 2013 (Intel) running on MacOS 11.7.10 with xcode 13.2. Persistent "Access data from other apps" pop-up Mac mini M4, latest Sequoia update 15.2. Doesn't matter what app it is, most apps are doing this. I tend keep my S/O on call while we work and usually like play some YouTube/Spotify in the background. Just because of this ducking issue we started using Discord. Removing VB from Mac Audio Input/Output (Solution) Hello, I hope this finds you well. I had the problem of trying to delete the VB Virtual Cable application on my Mac, but it is still appearing in sound output. I thought I'd share the solution for what I did to remove it. Have Finder open > look at the top bar, click "Go" > Go to Folder > and a search bar will appear. Macbook just updated to Sequoia 15.2, and Google Chrome will not work This might not be the right thread and I apologize. Help! Time Machine is totally empty and I'm trying to recover an important file My time machine is on, but as I'm in the middle of trying to recover an important file, it's completely empty. I need to go back a couple of months on it, but I cannot select anything but 'today' in the feature. What could the issue be?
