The love people have for Mumbai locals is incredible! This morning at Thane station during peak hours, I saw a working woman standing very close to the platform edge. As the train arrived, she literally touched the motorman’s cabin of the moving train and took blessings, almost like we do in the temple. 😬😬😬😶 5 0 replies

Passport Verification Issue I recently applied for a passport, and during police verification, the officers requested my parents' birth certificates or school leaving certificates (LC). However, my mother's school LC does not mention her place of birth, and when we tried to obtain her birth certificate, government officials stated that birth certificates are not issued for individuals born before 1980. Regarding my father, he has an expired passport issued in the 1990s, but the name and date of birth on it differ from those on his Aadhaar card. Additionally, the passport was... 2 0 replies
Experiencing classism at Mumbai Domestic Airport’s Oasis Lounge I had an early morning flight at 5 AM, so I decided to wait at the Oasis Lounge at Mumbai Domestic Airport. I arrived around 2 AM, but the staff informed me that the lounge was closed and would open at 3 AM. They told me to sit and wait, which I understood and complied with. I was dressed casually in a solid-colored t-shirt and joggers. At around 2:15 AM, a well-dressed group of people arrived, and to my shock, they were allowed into the lounge immediately. Curious and... 5 0 replies
Recently visited Mumbai Museum (Vastu Sanghralay). Really an eye opener & matched international standards. Must visit even if not interested in history. I have visited museums across Europe and South East Asia. Never had expectations from India due to obvious reasons. Since I was in the area and had 2 hours to kill, I needed up just visiting and trust me it is such an amazing place. International standards, people maintain civic sense, beautiful architecture and interesting exhibits. 1 0 replies
F*ck this,..the living expenses are rising too fast,.. every essentials I go out to purchase has seen a price increase of 30%-80% in the last 6 months itself. This is not at all good for the middle class. What's wrong with you people,..why is there no outrage? This is not good for us middle class, we will now also pay taxes on these inflated expenses, that's like adding acid to the wounds, and on top of that there is no relief from the Tax system on income as well. This is messed up. I'm not feeling good about this, it's bugging me like hell. Like I want to pack my stuff and move out of this country on the next flight to anywhere possible. The facilities we... 2 0 replies
How is staying in Kurla? Hey everyone! We’re moving houses from Powai and trying to find a spot that works for both me (I work remotely) and my wife, who works in BKC. After exploring a few areas, we realized Ghatkopar wasn’t for us—it felt super cramped, and we kept running into this weird 'only veg food allowed' thing, which honestly, we found hilarious! Anyway, we found a beautiful 2BHK in Kurla, really close to BKC, in a great society with nice interiors. We absolutely loved the house, but of course, the general perception... 1 0 replies

Amazon has gone to the dogs in Mumbai Every order same day or next day or 3-4 days delivery is either delivered late night after 11pm or simply marked delivered and nothing comes. Chat or voice support is useless as all they keep parrotting is wait for a few days. I mean why do your agents then mark as delivered? It’s high time the govt takes some drastic action to reign in these e-commerce sites. I read Flipkart has its own mess too. 4 20 replies
