I understand where you are coming from, they have spacious rooms, great views from certain flats, surrounded by nature, peaceful, rent might seem reasonable when you are coming from Mumbai and so on. Nothing really compares in terms of amenities and the trust that comes with the name. That area sees a lot of power cuts but they have their own reliance power station built inside the society. Usually Hiranandani puts in a lot of efforts to develop the whole area around their properties and all of that would matter to you if your intention was to buy a flat there, as a holiday home or for investment purpose...

But if you are renting, you will eventually realize that there is absolutely nothing to do there. And if you are living with your family, that would only make make it worse. Will be very hard to find MAIDS, no urban company home services there, no big basket delivery, no good schools, no major paediatric hospitals, no major restaurants/cafes, and to reach Mumbai, you would have to pay two separate tolls if I am not wrong. That road gets scary at night so even if you have your own vehicle you will think twice before leaving or driving back home late at nights. Even if you have to take a flight once in like an year, you would be traveling for 3 hrs that day just to get to the airport. This is no Rishikesh where the location and view itself is just so pleasant that you don't need anything else to do. The closest city life you can experience will be in Panvel and there isn't much to do there either. People coming from Mumbai find it very hard to adjust even in Panvel because there is absolutely no night life here, you will be going to Belapur, Kharghar, Vashi, Bandra even if you want to take your family and guests to some fine dining options and mall experiences.
