There have been allegations (with proofs) in the past and present as well that a Vanjari leader Dhananjay Munde, who is also a part of cabinet minister of current BJP coalition government in Maharashtra, has amassed huge wealth with help of his minions who are strictly from his own caste. One of his minion Walmik Karad who is a known gangster has taken active part in murder of that Maratha Sarpanch because he opposed his extortion demands.

There is saying in Maharashtra that condition of Beed due to this particular politician and his Bahubalis is worse than 90’s Bihar. The reason for SP’s order is because of the caste prejudice by his caste members. This Munde family had a mandate that every government officer should be from his own Vanjari community, every government contract should go to his people and it does up until now. There have been many instances like booth capturing by his people even in 2024. His people in government functionaries have been incredible biased towards their own community and against one Maratha community. Hence the situation is pretty tensed and communal tensions are on the rise.
