What's with YouTube now? When I click on a video it goes full screen on portrait, but the most annoying part is I can't do anything when I am currently playing or watching a video, when I swipe the video down to search for more or scroll it keeps putting the video back up to play preventing me from scrolling, playing other videos even searching while the video is in the background paused or playing, does anyone else experience this? 2 0 replies

Comments in dark mode now appear black Started happening to me yesterday. Ive been sing dark mod for years and you typed a comment the text box was white so you could see what you were typing. As of yesterday the comment txt is black like the background and I can't see it. I restarted YT, set it back to light mode. Nothing works. Aaargh, YouTube in dark mode (in Firefox, anyway) not letting you see your comments as you type Why? I cannot see my comments while typing. I don't know when it happened, but my YouTube comments are invisible as i type them now. it has something to do with the color, because when i switch to light mode they're visible. maybe the font just turned black? the only way i can see comments is if light mode is on, and light mode sucks, so I'm looking for other methods. it's still doing it on other browsers, but not on other websites, so it is specifically on YouTube comments. i've seen that a few people recently... 5 0 replies
The YouTube app has been nearly unusable for the last couple of weeks. Anyone else experience these bugs? When I minimize the video I'm watching to continue browsing youtube, the entire top half of my screen is unclickable. It just brings the video back up. If I'm watching a video I can't use the search bar, can't interact with my subscriptions, and can't add to my queue, which I use a lot. Been really frustrating. what is up with these garbage low effort commenters? i see these everywhere on shorts, comments that are incredibly generic made by accounts with weird handles. they always explain how they aren't bots in their about sections. a few years ago it was verified commenters making low effort comment slop below videos but now the common thread seems to be a short handle consisting of foreign characters or no handle at all. what is going on 1 0 replies

youtube stops playing 1 minute in on every video? i use firefox, i have tried: disabling all browser addons running only firefox and nothing else(not steam, not a game, not discord etc.) i have updated firefox and my drivers and my computer other websites work fine and i can even play a whole youtube video when linked through a steam chat window does anybody have any idea or insight into what could be happening? 2 0 replies
