    Mr. Gurmeet and Sharan Podcast

    Disclaimer - I am a newbie and do not know how to have deeper insights and target any sector or stocks in it. Saw this new podcast where he talked about a lot of sectors and how to chain your thoughts and research accordingly. Just wanted to ensure whether I can follow the advices and go after such sectors or am I being a blind follower? Worried coz mostly the people who have been in equity market for long consider these podcasts and finfluencers misguiding.

    My Theory as to why we saw a fall

    Not 100% sure, but a lotta factors did force our market down this week.. wanted to share & validate some of what i found Idk why but people are finding PSU bank deposits growth underwhelming.. which yes it is, but we were heading in this direction anyway with the enormous amt of debt we're throwing out + decrease in our gdp per capita growth rate last year as compared to '23-24. [https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/markets/stocks/news/psu-bank-stocks-fall-up-to-7-trail-overall-market-weakness/articleshow/115515230.cms?from=mdr](https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/markets/stocks/news/psu-bank-stocks-fall-up-to-7-trail-overall-market-weakness/articleshow/115515230.cms?from=mdr) \---------------------------------------------------------------------- Outflow of japanese money... cus of a "proposed" increase in interest rates from 0.25% - 0.5%....

    23500-> 21750 -> 23500 -> 21750

    We are going to 21750 from here. Q3 results across the board are going to be in line at best but not beat on upside. We are going to test 21750 which is the next lower support by Jan end. Then there will be a reversal till 23500 by Feb end. This was the reversal point for fall from 26000 and is also the current level. Previous support acts as first resistance during first pullback and the lower support point is always retested once at least. So again from...

    VIEWS ON IT SECTOR IN COMING MONTHS?

    In the last 6 months (starting from July 2024) PSU stocks, defence, Railway, Shipping sector have seen massive downtrends and continue to fall. There was too much exuberance in these shares and they hit a high in July (generically). The markets are currently correcting and many other stocks have also corrected a lot. IT stocks in general (ITBEES, persistent, mphasis, TCS, INFOSYS, HCLTECH) have withstood this current fall and have risen well. Today amidst nifty fall TCS managed to stay up by over 5% due to good earnings. TATAELXSI...

    What are your thoughts on HAL’s future in the Indian defense sector given the current challenges?

    I’ve been tracking Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for a while and wanted to gather some perspectives. While HAL has a strong order book and monopoly in certain defense segments, recent concerns like delivery delays and the government’s push to involve private players in defense manufacturing have raised questions about its long-term prospects. • Do you think HAL will retain its dominant position, or will private players pose significant competition in the coming years? • Are the delays temporary or the stock is overvalued? • Is the bull run over...

    Why do companies split a stock?

    Apparently it's to improve liquidity and make stock seem more affordable. There must surely be more to it, who truly benefits from it. Some companies chose not to split, like (MRF's decision not to split its shares is driven by maintaining exclusivity, targeting long-term investors, enhancing market perception, strategic financial reasoning, and avoiding short-term trading volatility.) TIA 🙏

    Growth with value unlocking.

    All we know what's happening in the market. Mutual funds too made negative returns in last 3 months. We started with covid recovery and ended up in Nov 2021 at 18000 nifty. After nov 2021 to march 2023 our markets are almost everytime below it's high of 18000 After every rally there will be consolidation phase in nifty. But look after march 2023 we again had rally from 18k to 26k. We are gone in consolidation phase from last 3 months. Market too require time to breath after every...
