    Rate my Portfolio

I currently have Zomato, Bajaj Housing, Raymond (both lifestyle and other one), HDFC, D Link, Cochin Shipyard and a few other stocks (low percentage compared to the ones mentioned) I have about 4L total investments. The portfolio hasn't fared well but I have faith in the businesses doing well in the future. What should I do, should I include some other stocks?

Here is what my analysis says

The sellers exhausted all their selling power and usually when such gap down happens the market recovers usually when there is no real reason for market to fall so i think the market will recover for today and move till 25000 in the next 1 week.

Nifty Breaks Support Entering Bear Market Territory💀

We are officially now in a bear market. Nifty broke the previous support and now the gap filling session is showing weak signs too even after extreme fear among investors with the market being at support abd with good valuations yet it broke the level. Are you all still buying at the dips?🤡 Good luck! returning your hard money to FII's

Santosh Nair's "Bulls, Bears and Other Beasts" offers a fascinating exploration of the Indian stock market, filled with anecdotes, insights, and valuable lessons. Here are five key takeaways from this insightful book: 1⃣ 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: The stock market is a marathon, not a sprint. As Nair emphasizes, patience is crucial for long-term success. Avoid impulsive decisions and focus on the fundamentals of companies you invest in. 2⃣ 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Don't put all your eggs in one basket. I started my investment journey in Sept 2023 and was at approx 20 % profit till a few months back. Today morning its come to 3.7% profit and falling more. Is this the time to hold the shares and do nothing ?Many people around me have started selling but I feel I should wait for market recovery.

Looking for some advice from the experienced people.

Value investors, which stocks are you buying right now?

As title say, which stocks you are buying or accumulating or averaging? For example, I'm slowly accumulating shares with lower than median PEs in large caps.

    Bearish/Pessimistic

I've been quite bearish of the markets(nifty), since it topped 25000+ I thought it had topped the markets and now it was time for a health correction of 10-12% but it climbed till 26K and it corrected a bit, but I believe there's more froth in the market given a few macros and the sentiments around. Remember all the money printing in the US, and how asset prices were inflated obnoxiously, then the energy crisis in Europe due to Russia & Ukraine war, interest rates haven't been changed since...

    Market on Jan 13, 2025

Daily Journal: India's industrial growth rose to a six-month high of 5.2 percent in November, compared to 3.7 percent in the previous month, data released on January 10 showed, as the economy showed some signs of recovery after a disappointing second quarter. I always try to look at the glass as half full. Be prepared for a tough week ahead 💪🏻 US markets had a weak session on Friday. All the 3 indices closed in red. Futures are also weak. 10Y US Bond Yield rises above 4.7% now. This...

    DII & FII ISSUE

If DII constantly buys what FII sells using people money to stabilise market... Expecting the market will bounce back after correction... What if the situation remains worst and FII begin removing huge sum of money and start shorting it... Won't it create consequences for those active mutual funds?

Also I have to frame the process step by step. Up for any discussion.

Well, here's something new, and I need your feedback on it

Recently, I came up with an idea for a platform that simplifies portfolio management. The concept is simple: you input your current portfolio, and the platform suggests ways to diversify it based on your age and risk factors—similar to traditional methods like '100 - Age' but more personalized and data-driven. Instead of spending hours watching YouTube videos from so-called financial gurus or reading endless articles, you could get actionable advice with just a few clicks. It would also recommend funds, ETFs, REIT platforms, and fractional real estate options to...
