Workcation in Gangtok

I am thinking of doing a workcation in Gangtok, Sikkim in last 10-12 days of this December. My job requires constant access to internet. So I am just wondering if Gangtok faces any power cuts. If yes, then how frequent? Moreover, how is connectivity of Airtel network in Gangtok?

As of now from tommorow 01/12/2024 only permits for lachung , yumthang valley and zero point will be issued . Only From 10/12/2024 onwards permits for Lachen , Gurudongmar lake will be issued.
