Bad experience with SNT employee

Yesterday, I was heading back to my hometown from GTK for my winter break. Since I was running late, all the taxis to my town were gone, and I had to take the bus instead. The journey was slow because of a traffic jam caused by road construction, and I finally reached home at 6 PM. It was already dark by then, as winter days are short. The Last village of South Sikkim

I’m standing on the last village of South Sikkim and the hill you see is West Sikkim. The roads are not fun to drive and is kind of risky but a worthy destination to visit. The river Rangeet separates the two hills.

North Sikkim closed for 20 days ?

I''ve just been informed that lachen is completely closed due to landslides. I've also been told that none of the places as per my itenary would be open for next 20 days (gurudongmar lake, zero point, yumthang valley). My flight is scheduled to leave on Monday (23/12/24). I'm only 25 but people have started calling me "bhaiya"

Man, I thought younger generations of Sikkimese folks learned to be better, but they, disappointingly, haven't. Even visibly older people have referred to me as "bhaiya" when I've sat at my father's shop sometimes. Lived my whole life here and I never thought I'd get called "bhaiya" one day😓. Just a harmless rant. Edit: To clarify to non-Sikkim residents, "bhaiya" is used to refer to any man who's not a local here, and is a person of non-Sikkimese origin(Nepali, Bhutia, Lepcha).
