Lakes and water bodies are dying This reminds me of Bellandur lake in Bangalore. Heavy sewage and industrial dumping turned the lake into a swamp. The froth was through out the year and there have been times when it would catch fire and then float into nearby areas. Over urbanization is killing what once made this city great. Instead of reviving rivers and lakes more tress are being cut for stupid projects like walkway around the rivers. Do we really need PMC? Should we stop paying taxes? 4 2 replies

Pune and it's Animal Rescue Centres Saw a kitten today while I was traveling. It was injured and couldn't walk properly (malnourished too). I tried to feed it and reach near it but with no luck. So I tried contacting animal rescue shelters. Found no help. One was not picking up the call, other was only accepting case through WA msg but was not reading my messages. I tried few more. Bike prices in pune I am planning to purchase a bike(Honda cb350 hness) in Pune with BH number. I visited multiple honda showrooms. Each one has their specific things that you need to purchase with no option for owner. 1. Standard fittings - with no option to deny why? 2. Need urgent help regarding mediclaim My friend is currently admitted and the bill has crossed 7.5lakhs. She has coverage upto 6lakhs from Oriental. And later she has to get an injection every month that costs 23k.
