Venture Capital Internship Hey guys. I’m a 2024 BBA finance graduate from a Tier 1 university in Bangalore. I didn’t sit for placements due to most of the roles being KYC analyst or operations kind of thing which i didn’t want to get into. Did some few internships here and there after that but kept trying for core finance roles (market was really fucked up) and finally got one at a decent VC firm in mumbai. The problem is, the pay would be very very low (15-20k pm) and the office is... 1 0 replies
Which are Marathi Middle Class dominant localities? Most of the good place in Mumbai is taken by some rich communities since years. Please help mention the localities in Mumbai Suburbs (due to cost constrain) where Marathi middle class and middle-upper class people dominate. Or even areas which are majorly cosmo, but are not dominant with one community other than Marathi. Edit: Thanks all for answering. 4 0 replies
Thank you for donating blood Mumbai; we still need your help! On Friday night, I made a post asking for urgent blood donation for my friend's little brother who's suffering from Leukemia. (Link to the post: https://www.reddit.com/r/mumbai/s/UlyFM1uuML) We got many responses. People from here donated blood and platelets for him. Even helped out the family in any way they could. Some even came all the way from Thane for it. I'm so so grateful to you all. Even if you couldn't donate for some reason, I'm so glad you guys reached out. Yesterday, with all the help we could get,... 4 0 replies
Why only Gujju marwadi Jain people pitchers flaunt their origin and state and caste and language on shark tank india ? Atleast I have noticed only Gujju marwadi Jain people pitchers flaunt their origin and state and caste and language while giving their pitch. Do they think they are greatest of all because their own community government is in power in centre and their states. 1 0 replies

Stark reality of Mumbai I just came back from a week long trip to Dubai. When you are back from a developed country, you can see just how far behind we are. I am a Mumbaikar, born and spent 40+ of my life here. This wasn't my first trip to a developed country, but this time upon returning the differences just hit differently. Non-existent infrastructure, zero civic sense, zero traffic sense, trash and rubble everywhere, pollution so bad it burns your throat. The same people who would keep a wrapper or a tissue... 0 2 replies

Got Kicked Out of a Club for No Reason After Spending ₹5000+ Got Kicked Out of a Club for No Reason After Spending ₹5000+ Went to lucy lu last night, and it was honestly one of the worst experiences I've had. Despite making a bill of over ₹5000, we were randomly told that we weren't allowed to walk in certain areas of the club. No explanation, no logic—just straight-up restrictions like we were intruding on some VIP-only zone (which we weren’t). Then came the biggest scam—they were asking for an extra ₹9000 just to step onto the dance floor. What kind... 2 7 replies

Society demanding 10% of rent. Is this even legal? (Virar) So my parents have two new 1BHKs in a building in Virar West, and we’re planning to rent out one of them. The society secretary is now demanding 10% of whatever rent we charge, on top of the ₹3k monthly maintenance we’re already paying. I get that maintenance is a given, but why should we pay extra just because we’re renting it out? We’re already dealing with “taxes on little things we earn”, and now this? I asked my mavshi (Nalasopara) and mami (Virar East), and their societies don’t... 1 20 replies
