Got my Dream First Bike After years of waiting, I finally pulled the trigger and got the dream first bike. KTM DUKE 250 And What a machine it is. Worth every penny of my hard earned money. Can't get enough of it and can't wait for the run-in period to be over. The bike feels absolutely normal below 5k RPM and starts pulling as soon as you cross it although I haven't fully experience that since I am riding sedately until I get its first service done. There are vibrations at low RPM and... 2 10 replies

Help this newbie rider Let’s say a person is riding on a single lane two way road, and his destination is on the other side of the road, the road has quite a lot of traffic thus, it’s not possible to turn without waiting for vehicles on the other side of the road giving you way to cross, in such case, is the rider supposed to stop on the side of the road or on the middle of the road( so that vehicles behind him can cross him from his left) . Some... 3 5 replies
Rode from Chennai to Goa (and back) for IBW [AMA] Decided to ride to IBW again, this time I was bit further away because of my job relocation. But nonetheless took the challenge to ride from Chennai(Chengalpattu) to Goa. While going did the full stint in one go, meet up with friends who started from Bengaluru near Dharwad. While coming back stopped in Bengaluru for a night, before heading towards to Chennai. Duke crossed ~47k kms 3 10 replies

Sold my big bike and got a Duke 390 Some background. I have been riding a mix of (relatively) big and small bikes since 2019. Started my journey by getting an inline 4 - Benelli TNT 600i (ABS). Had no regrets aside from the fact that it was heavy and had terrible brakes. Sold that in a year and got the CBR 600 F4i. This is the most powerful bike I have ridden and could touch 2XX kmph like it was child’s play. Sadly it was a hornets nest in terms of electrical issues and also the committed... 1 10 replies
Test ridden the Triumph Scrambler 400 x, Speed 400 and T4 My thoughts after test riding the three motorcycles. First started with the scrambler. It's a tall motorcycle (I'm 5.11) and I can't flatfoot both sides. I can reach the ground with half of my foot on both sides. I was able to flatfoot both sides with a pillion though. Maneuvering the motorcycle was a task and pulling the motorcycle reverse while sitting felt tedious. The handlebar was wayyy wider so much that when steering the handlebar completely one side, the other side went out of reach and i had... 1 4 replies
Shortlisted these bikes under 2 lakhs. I am 30 years old and 163cm tall. I have been riding bikes and scooters for the past 13 years, but I never felt the need to buy one because my family had multiple vehicles. Recently, I got a new job that requires me to work from the office. The round trip to the office is approximately 20 kilometers. This has made me consider buying a new bike for my daily commute. Requirements: Easy to ride in traffic, almost flat seat(wife's demand), lightweight and my budget is 2 lakhs.... 2 10 replies
Can you pop a wheelie? Out of curiosity, I was wondering how many bike enthusiasts here have mastered the art of popping a wheelie. I've always wanted to learn how to wheelie and have barely gotten the front wheel to rise a few cm on my MT15 in an isolated area. Its a bit scary and its not because of getting hurt, but more because the bike might get damaged when dropped, lol. Any tips? 4 10 replies
