Trying to use my macbook pro as a another monitor with a windows computer

I can work from home with my work windows laptop hooked up to another monitor using HDMI. Can I use my macbook pro as a third monitor? Its on my work computer so can't download anything on the windows laptop

Can't pair MFI Hearing Aids with Mac Mini M4 on 15.3.1. At wits end.

I have Oticon Real Hearing Aids (HAs) which are on the compatibility list for working with Mac Mini M4. The HAs get recognized under "Accessibility" > "Hearing Devices" but the option to connect to them is grayed out. Why 144hz doesn't look high refresh rate that much?

I just got back to Mac OS I noticed whenever I use high refresh rate monitors compared to windows, It either looks slow or just 60hz feel when I scroll in safari. The mouse cursor still looks fast but the scrolling on any application doesn't look 144hz. I use the mx anywhere 3s as my mouse and use mac mini connected to 3440x1440p ultrawide with betterdisplay set at 75% scaling (1080p). Compared to iPhone and iPad they feel fast but that's just me what do you think? Thank you....

What programs allow me to manually sync individual music files from macOS to iOS and iPadOS?

I use Music.app, but not the Apple Music subscription service. All my music is local files on my computer. For some time now, syncing my iPhone and iPad via Finder fails to sync changes I've made to my music library to the mobile devices. It will not see newly added files or metadata changes and will not sync them. Sometimes it simply ignores them. discord live streaming frame drops

anyone else having issues when livestreaming to others on discord? my stream isnt as smooth as i want it to be, definitely not as my pc colleagues’ streams. i tried streaming through facetime which did insanely well both frames and quality so i know it’s not that my mac isnt capable. im using the base mac mini m4. its a drivers issue i think.

How is it 2025 and the Safari bookmarks functionality is still this terrible?

You can't drag an existing bookmark into a bookmarks folder. You can't drag a bookmark inside of a folder, out of the folder. And you can't simply right-click >> delete a bookmark inside a folder. Many, many years ago I thought all of these "features" would be added any day now....

Does anyone know how to filter pics in the macOS Photos app by device taken? For example, I'd like to see photos taken only by my 11 Pro. The info is in the metadata, but I don't know how to grab it. Would appreciate any help!

Is there a macOS equivalent to Windows’ Win+P ‘Display Switch’ menu?

Does anyone know if there’s a quick way on macOS to switch display modes like Windows does with Win+P? I switch between my Windows PC and MacBook using the same monitors, but my Mac keeps “seeing” them even after I switch the source, so it thinks there are three screens. The mouse and app windows float off to the other displays when I just want them on the Mac’s built-in screen until I decide to extend again. Any app, shortcut, or script would be awesome!

Have a MBP M3 Pro that I’ve got hooked into an ultrawide monitor. The speakers I have use a 3.5mm audio jack, which I currently have hooked into the monitor. The monitor is attached via DisplayPort to USB-C. MacOS doesn’t allow CEC. Have tried EqMac as a software solution, but it was unreliable and undesired. Anyone have a cost-friendly dock or hub solution that will meet my needs? Essentially, I just want to plug one cable in for my monitor and speakers, as well as maybe an external SSD...

Is There A Way to switch between multiple windows (one of the windows maybe in background) of the same app via shortcuts?

I've been searching for a solution for a long time without success. I want to use keyboard shortcuts to quickly switch between two windows of the same application (especially Arc Browser). I know Command + \~ partially works, but it only functions when both windows are in the foreground. If one window is in the background, there's no way to bring it forward using this shortcut.
