Does OS Sequoia not support the 5k resolution of the 27in iMac?

I had to manually reset the resolution to 5120 × 2880 in the "advanced" section of the display settings, however this has resulted in the text and icons being incredibly small. Is there a way to fix this without making the resolution lower?

The vanishing mouse cursor

I'm not sure what to make of this one. Every couple of days the cursor, if still for a bit, will spontaneously disappear on my Mac Mini M2, (a hard wired Kensington Orbit), and the only way I get it back is to unplug it's USB cable and re-insert it. At boot up it will always work as expected. Not a big deal, but rather annoying. Force Old AMD Drivers on macOS Sequoia?

I've got a 2019 MacBook Pro 15 with an AMD Radeon Pro 5500M that I upgraded to Sequoia. Need help with audio interface and Discord

Hi, new mac user here. Im struggling to use my audio interface on Discord for calls, it picks every sound of my system, i cant separate the inputs for mac, i just need the 1-2 of my interface to do the work, but the 3/4 input (as virtual) is the loopback, how can i work this out? cant even watch a youtube video while im on a call, i haven't test this on another apps like Zoom or Google Meet.

Automator bash code runs only when started manually

SMB Mount (NAS) at login (no matter whether it's done via script of login item) SUPER slow (25MB/s). If I unmount and remount, I get expected speeds (700MB/s). I know SMB in macOS is hot garbage, but this is insane! Any thoughts?

Tacticals: Server: Mac Studio M1 (10GB CAT6A SFP+) NAS: Synology DS1821+ (10GB fiber SFP+) Switch: USW Pro 24 PoE Gateway: USD-Pro Server OS: macOS 14.7.3 (rolled back because 15.x was a friggin' nightmare for mounted shares) Both SFP connections are set to auto (MTU: 1500 - no jumbo frames) Before I create a script that will mount, unmount, and mount again, wanted to see if I am missing anything.

NEED HELP FINDING PHOTBOOTH VIDEO!!

i recorded a video on photobooth the other day and it was over an hour long and when i clicked the button to stop recording it completely disappeared and nowhere to be found can i recover this some how or am i beat? it was really important content on that video.

SSD Write speeds at maximum of 30MB/s, while read speed 400MB/s

On mac os, i have multiple external ssds all of them shit the bed, suddenly all of them i can only write at 30MBs while strangely i can read from the at spec speed, on 2.5inch external 30MBs write 400MBs read, and even on my banging M.2 in a external enclosure write is 30MBs while read is about 800MBs.... These used to work absolutely fine with the same macbook and same cabels, i tried swiching out all the cabels already. Any solution or tips??? I pulling out hairs here......

Old files from a backup are corrupting my new 2025 Macbook Pro.

First Macbook was used brand new from 2009 to 2018. When it died I did a Time Machine backup onto an external drive. External monitor not working!!!

I have a MacBookPro M2 and when i connect it with my samsung monitor with a HDMI cable and a connector to plug in the cable to my mac it just doesn’t work. Reformat Fusion Drive

Is it just me, or has Apple’s servers slowed to a crawl? I’m on a fiber connection, speed tests are normal, I’m monitoring bandwidth usage on my router while streaming content, and all seems fine. Peaking at 36Mbits…. But looks like NINE HOURS to finish the MacOS update download….

MacBook Air 2015 Registeres left click as right

Hi! I have two MacBook Air 13” 2015 models. Both’s keybord got water damage. If i click left on a trackpad, it registeres as right. It is the same with an external usb mouse. Even if i open up the laptops and disconnect the trackpad-keyboard cables, it still does this. Can anybody help me? I didn’t find anything relevant on the internet. Thank you!
