I'm just so sad while writing this :(

i'm an 18 year old female and i reside in Jodhpur itself. So usually i dont step out in night after 9-10 by myself and if i do, i go with one of my parents or my brother, so that i'm not that easily approachable and feel vulnerable but a recent event which happened with me, made me realise and accept that Jdh isn't safe for women even if they're with someone like their father, uncle or brother...So, on Saturday, 28th Dec, my masi and her family had come...

Places to hang out and spend time alone

Hey, I‘m in Jodhpur for a longer time (alone, so I’m really bored on weekends) and wondered if anyone knew good activities or places (Festivals, library, mall, sports) ? Why is proper public transport almost non-existent in Jodhpur?

Despite being the second most populated city in Rajasthan and the third largest by area, there is no state operated bus service within the city. Unlike most of the other cities of similar area/population, there are only very few or no buses with proper signage seen in the city. To add to that the rickshaw/taxi services are also vastly unregulated and absurdly expensive. For a city which has an airport, a major railway station and premier institutions like AIIMS and IIT, there seems to be no infrastructure in place...
