People here ride or drive recklessly nowadays

This incident happened with me at Sojati Gate where an old aged man hit me sideways and left me with this damage, I’ve shared only a few pictures of it, damage was more than that, and the noticeable part was when a group of people gathered around us, no one was blaming me or the other man, but If this would have happened by me, they would have beaten me up then and there, there were even policemen right behind me but no one came in front to help...

I'm travelling to jodhpur with my family and was keen on taking them to a few good restaurants and cafes during our stay. Any recommendations? - preferably for traditional rajasthani food and in general as well. As for what to do in terms of sightseeing, activities.
