2024 as an indian cricket fan Everyone would agree that Indian cricket's journey in 2024 was a wild one. Here's my personal take on this : I wouldn't be wrong to say this year we should have expected the unexpected. Look at whatever happened from January to December. 1. Winning the Cape Town test 2. Have we lost Virat Kohli to superstardom? 1. His spin game has been poor since start of Wtc, he rarely survives more than 50 balls. It was only recent Ipl where he was playing sweep shots. Coaches have changed yet his issue is still there. 2. His weakness of off side stump game has gotten worse in current Aus series. But we noticed that first in away NZ series and then in Eng series.
