Question about shipping a small brass Shiva statue. I sold a smaller sized Shiva figure that'd I'd found at a thrift store. Any particular things I should avoid when shipping it? I'm not Hindu and usually sell things I'm more knowledgeable of...paper and bubble wrapping it is the plan but I figured I'd ask just to make sure I could avoid a simple faux pas of a custom. I don't find issue thet humans consume it, but I can't understand why it is mentioned in our texts to offer it to god's, Surely bhagwan doesn't need us to kill animals for him, and we also find some verses saying we shouldn't kill animals, so why is there two versions where one says not to kill animals but many verses say to offer them... 3 18 replies
Do Vedas or Puranas talk about shape of the universe? I was reading about the meaning of Bhugol and how we had an understanding of spherical shape of mother Earth.
