Are we being tricked? Is it possible the incoming administration is punking us with all the good news? We are getting signs, and gains, leading us to believe things are going to go very very big.. But would it be possible for it to be a big trick? Some of the old money has slowly and begrudgingly come around to crypto.., but if these incoming criminals are willing to rshort the future to score a bag, and then hand us back to the old guard after cryptos burned, could they..? Are we being... 1 0 replies
"Ignore and don't click" DMs is not a good enough policy. Disabling DMs is I saw another post about people being targeted for scams via DMs. Some people think that the best policy is to "ignore and don't click". But they are already letting scammers and spam in their inbox. What for? People should instead **disable** their DMs. There is no need for anybody to contact you privately because they can already contact you at any moment and interact with you. No stranger is going to come with the "trade of the century" and share it with you. If anybody wants to help... 2 0 replies

Crypto.com withdraws its SEC lawsuit on the day CEO meets President Elect at Mar-a-Lago According to Yahoo Finance, [Crypto.com](http://Crypto.com) withdrew its lawsuit against the SEC on December 16, the same day its CEO, Kris Marszalek, met with President Trump. [Crypto.com](http://Crypto.com) stated that it withdrew the lawsuit because the exchange wants to work with the new administration to improve the regulation of the crypt industry. It is possible that [Crypto.com](http://Crypto.com) has, based on comms with the regulator or the upcoming administration, assessed that the likelihood of regulatory action as a follow-up to the Wells Notice has decreased sufficiently enough to warrant a different approach. Can cryptocurrencies be considered anarchist? The other day I came across a meme community of 3,300 members who are absolutely wild; their token is called ANARCHY on Solana. It got me thinking—are cryptocurrencies themselves anarchic? On the surface, it might seem like they are. The decentralized nature of these digital assets often promotes a sense of independence and freedom from traditional financial systems. Cryptocurrencies like ANARCHY, which are built on blockchain technology, aim to provide an alternative to centralized power structures by giving users control over their own assets and transactions without the need... 4 0 replies

My bank account was closed without notice because of my Coinbase transfers. How can banks do this? Hi, I live in the US and I banked with a nationwide bank. Last month I received a phone call from my bank asking why I receive so many transfers from Coinbase which I felt was really weird. I told them I trade for a living. Last week my debit card stops working so I call my bank and they tell me I need to come into the branch, I ask to speak with a manager and end up spending most of the day on the phone with my... 1 0 replies

To this day Gary Gensler has not said whether ETH is a security or a commodity Even after years of speculation Gary Gensler - the chair of the SEC (still) - has yet to provide an actual answer on whether ETH is a security or a commodity. Needless to say that this "uncertainty" created tons of debates within the crypto community and even within the boomers financial sector Genser used to teach courses on blockchain tech and crypto at MIT by the way - Yet he always avoided delivering a clear classification for Ethereum despite it being literally the second biggest cryptocurrency by market cap... 1 0 replies
