Exorbitant omni bus prices I travel between Chennai and Bangalore every week coz my work is 2 days a week hybrid model and I decided to stay at home and commute to chennai rather than paying the rent. (Rather unique situation I know). So, I usually travel during lean days like tuesday nights or thursday nights. But of late, I see that even during these times the ticket prices are unreasonably expensive. Like minimum 1200 to 1500 rupees for AC sleeper. Traffic on New Year Eve It took us more than 1 hour to reach Medavakkm from Westin Velachery. We started at 10.40pm from Westin Velachery and reached Medavakkm by 11.45pm. Is this true? I visited Thiruvanmiyur Beach this evening, and there were many people either on their usual walks or celebrating New Year's Eve. Interestingly, the police were asking everyone to leave the beach and asked them to cooperate in vacating the area. Is this true? I've never experienced this before, and it felt completely new to me.
