Why Bihar is so much in love with Nitish? This is a genuine question. Any day Naveen Pattnaik is a better administrator than Nitish. Now that Naveen has lost power in Odisha, when can we see Nitish sitting in opposition again? 3 0 replies
I can't find the source of this, but I remember reading about this a few years ago. I read a lot of history, so you know I am obviously intimately familiar with Bihar's history. What Bihar is today in 2025, is nothing compared to how great Bihar was before the British arrived in India. And interestingly Bihar was one of the first states to fall under the British rule. There are some parts of India that were under the British rule for only 100 years. But Bihar, Bengal, Jharkand bared almost 200 years of British rule from 1772 onwards. Apparently during the freedom struggle, when most... 4 0 replies

HELP Title: Trapped in Our Own Home for 1.5 Years – Authorities Ignoring Our Pleas! I never thought I’d have to post something like this, but my family is desperate. For the past 1.5 years, my neighbor has forcefully blocked our only way to reach our house, despite an ongoing trial in the SDM court. This has completely disrupted our lives—we can’t even go outside for basic needs, and my kids have been unable to attend school for months, missing out on crucial stages of their education. We are essentially... 4 0 replies
Hello, any filmmakers or passion in filmmaking Hello, having done my bachelor's in filmmaking from Mumbai, I got some work here and there as AD, AC, and DA in feature films and music videos. I have made short films and documentaries, too. Last week we were shooting a short film, and it got cancelled for so many reasons, which made me realise that city is not where I belong. I always wanted to return home (Darbhanga) and make films in and about Bihar. Now is the time I guess I am planning to shift there and... 4 0 replies
Types of turban in history of Bihar/eastern India Today Bihar or even indians as whole have stopped wearing turbans which was very popular all across India.
Still Searching for a Roll Like Big Bite, Bhagalpur! Hey Redditors, I’m Aman Singh from Bhagalpur, now living in Jamshedpur. I’ve visited many cities and tried rolls at different places, but I just can’t find that same taste as Big Bite in Bhagalpur. No matter where I go, something always feels missing—the flavors, the texture, or just the way it’s made. Has anyone found a place that serves rolls as good as Big Bite? Or is it truly one of a kind? Would love some recommendations! 3 0 replies
