Then stopped after a couple of meters and asked if I could transfer his wife some money for the treatment and promised to pay me back then now he's not picking up calls. Landlord increasing rent by 33% after 7 months of stay. Is this normal? Me and my flatmate have stayed at this place since August 2024. The landlord lives just one floor above us. He came in a couple of days ago and said he'd be increasing our rent. The proposed increase will amount to a 33% increase after just 7 months of stay. The rental agreement says upon expiration of the rental agreement (which happens on 11 months of stay) an increase of 5% will be done if it were to be renewed. Rapido issues Tldr: Rapido as an aggregate app has been really shady with its refunds. On 10th February I took a 124 rupees auto ride and added tip to make it 140 rupees.
