He came in a couple of days ago and said he'd be increasing our rent. The proposed increase will amount to a 33% increase after just 7 months of stay. The rental agreement says upon expiration of the rental agreement (which happens on 11 months of stay) an increase of 5% will be done if it were to be renewed. Flat unregistered from Nov 2024 Are flats in Bengaluru not getting registered because of the e-khata rules? Or is my builder just using this an excuse? The building has been given an e-khata but they're saying the bifurcation rules are not clear and so the property cant be registered. I thought bifurcation of khata happens AFTER registration.Has that changed?
