Why my Reddit up votes and comments are not visible to others

Hi guys, I recently joined Reddit with the sole purpose to help people with their financial queries. I am an employee and not a distributor for any fund etc, so have no vested interest. Only wish to guide people as per my limited knowledge in the hope someone may find it useful. I have tried commenting and up voting multiple times but people can't see it when I share the link to my comment. It shows server error when I go to a particular sub reddit to eg: r/Nri...

why do people who literally believe in breast tax criticize religious people believing in relatively harmless myths?

breast tax didn't exist and its proven, do you research before contesting this claim in the comments and derailing the question, you would be an extremely pathetic of a human to be in denial. the fact is that hateful fictitious atrocity literature do more harm that religious mythos like Sri Rama building a bridge to cross over to lanka and prophet muhammad splitting the moon with his will power.

Does anyone still print their memories?

Hey everyone, As someone from the “Gen Z”, I’ve noticed that most people my age don’t seem to print their photos anymore. Everything stays just on the phones or in the cloud, often getting lost in digital clutter…for me it just ends up getting deleted unintentionally one random day. For the past few years, I’ve been choosing 3-4 photos from significant events each year and printing them to make a physical album. There’s just something about holding those memories in your hands that makes them feel more real. Plus,...

Intercultural Relationship with a Bihari Partner

I'm a 27F South Indian, Andhra Pradesh was asked out by a 25M from Bihar. Since I’m not familiar with Bihari culture and traditions, I’m wondering what it might be like to be in a relationship with someone from that background. I see relationships as long-term commitments, so I’m curious if anyone has experience being in a relationship with someone from Bihar. How did it work out, especially when it comes to cultural differences? Additionally, we belong to different caste .How might this affect things in the long run,...

Why do people still believe in mythological stories like Hanuman ji swallowing the sun?

I've always been curious about the belief in ancient mythological stories, especially ones like Hanuman swallowing the sun. Scientifically, it seems impossible, yet many people continue to believe these tales literally. What would be the reason for this?

Why do parents create high expectations on their children?

In so many places there is still unfairness going on over boy and girl. Like some places say so much bad things if a girl is born but extremely happy proud and content if a boy is born. I just really dislike this fact. I don't think there should be any differences. But as kids grow older and reach a certain age mostly in their 20s is when parents all of sudden get this life responsibility and stress about marriage. Either they stress the kids so badly that they...

Why government is so silent about illegal immigration from Bangladesh?

Like seriously why government is so silent about them and doing nothing , we Indians already have enough problem and they are creating more . Now a days more Bangladeshis openly criticizing indians and supporting china and pakistan ,no matter how much Indian government did for them in past and I am not even talking about 14 years kids in instagram but genuine adults. I have not much problem with bangladeshis living in Bangladesh , but the ones coming in India and still criticizing government , they mostly live...

Do you think indian healthcare system is a scam?

my house help's son had an accident and broke his leg, and he had to stay at the hospital overnight, and the total bill of everything included came to around 2.6 lakhs. Thankfully I'm in a position where I can afford something like that but majority of India can't. Do you think our healthcare system is just as fucked as the US? Exploiting people and crumbling them under debt or is this one of a few cases. ( I should mention I'm from a metropolitan city so healthcare here...

Do anyone feel the way we see things communicated with English is irritating?

I scroll through LinkedIn ,YT, Instagram and other platforms and I feel the way we Indians communicate now a days trying too elegant, over-hyed, too excited. Yes, everyone wants to improve their vocab and present their thoughts in clear and effective manner. Courses are available online focusing on where to stress on words, voices, pitch etc. However in this process to fit in, I feel we are loosing something, now things are not said the way the situation is. It's too much hand movements, over expressive facial expressions, over...

What's the best heart health supplement that one can start intake of?

Was searching something for my brother. He works in IT and the sleep cycle's messed up. Lives far from home so doesn't get home made food either. It's either mess or Swiggy/zomato. I've came across some heart health juice with great reviews on Amazon. I am not sure if one can take such supplements without prescription. What do you think?

Do you think most Indians have conflict with their parents, especially with their mothers?

Americans often have negative feelings about their parents and express it fairly often and freely. Do you think it is different among Indians? Are Indians mostly satisfied, if not happy, with they way their parents raised them?
