Do you like dogs or cats?

Do you like the attention a dog gives you, or do you like the introvertive calm nature of a cat. Or perhaps you like both dog and a cat equally? Share your preferences. 🐶 😺

What do you do when home stops being home?

I’ve never been in hostel or PG. Even when I was married I went to my childhood home which feels like home. Like relax and have all your guard down. Now having been away from home for 1.5 years ( and living with my boyfriend) home isn’t home anymore. It’s my parent’s place that I visit. I feel guilty that this happened. Has this happened to anyone else? How do you cope?

What does society think of a lady who puts parents over husband ?

We all have seen men who side with his parents over his wife even if they are wrong. These men are usually praised and called good sons. Moreover, if they side with his wife (even if she is right) he is called a henpecked husband) What does society think of a lady who puts parents over husband ?

Men of India what do you do to make yourself feel masculine?

Today something stupid happened. I have injured my knee and had gone out to buy some food. I was sitting on a stool in front of the shop when three typical "Delhi ke launde" types came there and ordered some stuff. One of them turned towards me and putting his hand on my shoulder said in a mocking tone "Chal beta uth ab, bahot baith liya" or something like that. I hadn't even looked at him but I actually stood up cus mentally I was thinking about standing up...

This happened yesterday night, the boy was allegedly tied and then raped brutally. All the details of this incident are alleged because everyone has a different story, but the rape did happen. Is it mandatory to get married?

I feel it is overrated, we can live a simple life without a partner as per our wish. We just get married only for the society. Change my mind if you feel otherwise.

Why are some parents so entitled?

I was travelling through flight today and someone requested to switch my window seat with their kid. They tried to convince me but I was adamant about not giving up my seat. The kid started crying and I ended up getting weird states from everyone. I didn't give up my seat because I paid for it but it still made me feel very guilty. I think I was a little immature while handling this situation.

Does caste influence fame in India? A thought from my university professor."

I’m currently studying at one of the universities here in India, and during a lecture, my professor made a bold statement. He said that some singers and cricketers in India are promoted more because they come from upper-caste backgrounds. At first, I brushed it off, thinking it might be an exaggeration. But the more I think about it, the more I wonder—could there be some truth to this? Does caste actually play a role in shaping fame and opportunities in fields like music and cricket? Or is this just...

Markets likely to fall (15-20%) in the next 18 months or so

My opinion is that there is a huge inward influence with the Trump Presidency and the resultant trade tariffs that are coming across almost all countries. Rupee is falling, that brings in a huge inflationary impact on our largely import dependent economy. Oil import bill will rise, bringing in fuel price increase and thus contributing to the input price increases across sectors. The era of cheap money is likely over as central banks across the world are tightening their monetary policies. All in all, the markets will give a...

What Holds Back India’s Privileged Youth from Taking the Lead in Driving Progress?

Throughout history, it has often been the educated, resourceful, and intellectual elite who have been the torchbearers of progress, leading the masses toward a better world. Why then, in today's India,do many privileged and resourceful young professionals in India choose to leave the country or complain about its state, instead of leveraging their means, education, and influence to drive the much-needed change from within? Has it become really hard to stage a revolution like we witnessed during India's independence struggle or in the 70s? What are they afraid of?...
