Indian kids don’t have any civic sense because of their Parents

Indian kids don’t have any civic sense because of their Parents. I just had the most annoying dinner experience of my life. I went to a Chinese restaurant this night with my family. It is a very decent restaurant in a good locality, it is small but it is a fine dining restaurant (not 5 star hotel expensive but still a very decent restaurant). I'm just mentioning that it is fine dining so you guys understand it is not a local Chinese street food place which can attract all...

How do you want to be loved?

How do you want to be loved and seen? Here is Me I want to be talked to without being asked to, I want to be remembered even in the happiest of hours, I want to share in their joy and see their world as much as I can. I want them to want to see my world too and together see the world differently. To gaze intently at the crowd, the skies and the buildings and pass judgement and think and ponder on all that's happening in the...

Do Indian parents force, pressurize, or rush women into marriage, even if the woman herself is not eager, interested, or ready?

Hello all, 31M here, currently looking to date and eventually marry. I’ve met around 9 women in person so far, mostly through matrimony portals, and 7 out of the 9 have shared that their parents, grandparents, or relatives are pressuring them to marry quickly, with some even using emotional blackmail citing their life expectancy etc as reasons. Is this that common in Indian families? Do Indian parents pressure their daughters into getting married even when they’re not ready or interested. Is it common for parents to rush their daughters...

why is regionalism so strong in india? i am not saying it is not a good thing but for some people, their "region" is more important that India and its sovereignty. what is the reason for this and how can we reduce this mindset?

Many people think that their region and community is superior to another community and people insult people from other regions/states and even be racist and call them slurs. like why?

I m in soo much distress . Please read and help if u can ,I m breaking ,I m alone helpless

I’ve always been someone who overthinks a lot—a lot. It drains my mind so much that when I try to think less, it feels unnatural. Sometimes thinking less helps, but often I feel like overthinking has become automatic, and that ends up ruining the moment. I try reminding myself how I used to live before—day by day, enjoying life as it came, without stressing excessively. I focused on completing tasks, celebrating moments with my family, and simply enjoying outings. But things started to derail in 2020. In 2020, during...

Why is Indian Tourism Failing Tourists?

I’ve been to several tourist spots in India, and honestly, the experience has been underwhelming. It’s nearly impossible to enjoy a place without constant interruptions from beggars or overly pushy shopkeepers. Every corner is filled with local shops, and not even the quality ones – just random stalls selling the same things. What bothers me the most is how dirty and disorganized these places are. It feels like tourism is entirely driven by business with no regard for the experience itself. The marketplaces near tourist spots are chaotic, and...

Is Fading Energy in a Growing Relationship a Phase or a Sign to Move On?

How do you determine if a relationship that started with great energy but later became less engaging is going through a normal phase, or if it’s a sign to move on? Especially when communication is still consistent but feels less frequent, and the other person reassures you everything is fine while not showing the same level of excitement as before.

    How hard is UPSC, really?

I know statistically, it is one of the toughest exams in the world but I feel that doesn't reflect much on the actual difficulty of the exam (and interview). How long does an average aspirant take to prepare and eventually make it through? Would love some insight on this.
