Lessons from 1.5 year long relationship Hi everyone, I was in a long-term relationship with the best girl for the past 1.5 years. During the relationship, I learnt a lot of lessons, especially on how girls work and what they want in a relationship... This could be a long post so bear with it and these are my personal opinions I'm not imposing or generalising any gender here. **Meeting her** I was very lucky to meet her, we met on Hinge vibed but eventually, I got ghosted, I felt a spark so I stalked her... 2 10 replies
Visited Jio Hamley’s Wonderland and it was a sheer disappointment I (28M) visited the Jio Hamley’s Wonderland on Christmas with my wife (27F) - though the place was absolutely sparkling with Christmas flair, it seemed nothing less than a cash-grab event. Starting from the high entry fee (INR 1500 per person on Christmas), I expected atleast a few activities to be covered in the fee. Unfortunately, every single - and I mean every single activity inside was paid and that too not for cheap. From small-sized ferris wheel costing INR 350 per person to basic arcade games costing INR... 2 10 replies
What are some ways all of us can commonly adopt (& stick to it) to fight back against workplace toxicity of any form? I’m thinking this is far better than just ranting online and doing nothing about it. Naming & shaming companies doesn’t do zilch to improve the situation - just look the number of companies mentioned on the Indian Reddiverse, you’ll know. If almost every workplace is bad and we’re being abused and keep taking it, why should we keep waiting for a breaking point? I’m a Millennial and just like our previous generation we are supposed to keep hush about these things, but why? I might be generalizing but Gen... 3 0 replies

Don't click if you don't want to spoil your day! Rant Alert! The following paragraph is written by my younger brother. Today me and some of my friends went to a local ground near a police quarter. (Just for your knowledge there is no other open cricket ground in a 5 km radius) We were playing cricket from 8 am in the morning and then suddenly at around 9:30 some policemen from the quarters came over, took our stumps and bats and walked away. We were shocked for a moment! Some of my friends had brought their bicycles and they... 5 0 replies

Is this the case with most gyms in Mumbai? I recently enrolled at Fitness First gym in Santacruz West. The property is fairly new and located at a prime location. The prices are really high (₹45,900 for a year) but somehow the sales rep and the manager lured me into purchasing the membership. The issue is that I'm a beginner (I had worked out almost a decade ago at a gymkhana I'm a member of, and most of my memory for use of equipment has faded). The floor trainers do not pay heed to the clients whatsoever, they... 1 10 replies
Mumbai from my lens So I and my friend came to Mumbai to enjoy for 2 days after final year exams. Got down at dadar station (it's a maze) at 5:30am and roamed in the flower market. Took a cab to juhu at 7am (250 rs). Good environment as I expected it to be dirty because of my previous mumbai darshan memories, but it was clean. Nothing much visible at distance due to pollution though. Incident to mention:- a naked man(yeah completely naked) was bathing in sea. At first I thought he wore... 2 6 replies

Is my life THATTT.....cheap ? Recently I was travelling to alibaug (revas port) from Mumbai (bhau cha dhakka), and I found something really shocking. You guys must be aware of the recent incident that happened on 19th dec where a navy speedboat hit a passenger ferry causing an unfortunate deaths of 13 people and left so many people injured. An investigating officer from Colaba police said “the boat was overcrowded and there was not enough safety gear for all”. This was corroborated by an MMB officer. People living in Mumbai, are you compromising on quality of life in the name of Mumbai's spirit? Guys don't get me wrong here. I love Mumbai and believe that it's the best city in India. But when comparing the quality of life in cities like Pune or Bangalore, I sometimes wonder are Mumbaikars getting the quality for the price they are paying? 1 10 replies
